Hen House on the Farm/Ashbourne
The pictures were exactly what we experienced. First time using VRBO. Farm property was amazing and the attention to detail provided by the care takers was "spot on". From welcoming basket with fresh bread, jams, coffee and tea to providing amenities similar to being at home. Will be back in the future.

Perfect hidden jem
After traveling for a whole day, we were met with fresh bread, jams, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee. It was a great and thoughtful surprise for us. The Hen house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The on site washer and dryer was a godsend for us because we were In Liverpool the week before and weren’t able to do any laundry. It is in a great location for us to day travel. It was a trip of a lifetime for us! We hope to be back within the next 10 years!

Great place to stay at the start of our trip! Our host was wonderful and so responsive, greeting us with fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee and juice. Our kiddos loved meeting the friendly farm cat on the property and walking the trails to meet the sheep (even trying to herd them themselves:)) close to Dublin and airport! Thanks again!

Short, but very nice stay.
The property was nice for our family of 5. Everything was clean and Ciaran met us when we pulled in to show us around. He also has one of the most comprehensive guides on amenities, restaraunts, things to do in the area. I wish we had more time to explore more of them.

Lovely place
Wonderful spot but we didn’t have a car and walking to town was impossible due to the narrow road. The welcome basket on arrival was a lovely surprise and the host was very welcoming and helpful. I would certainly return there one day… with a car

Lovely base for an extended family just outside Dublin.

Great stay in country setting
We had a lovely few nights here. The two bedroom space fit our four adults great and getting up close with the sheep and farm cats were fun. Our host made sure we had what we needed. Would happily stay again.

Absolutely Lovely
Upon arrival we were greeted by Paola and Ciaran. They were very welcoming and friendly. We became fast friends with the animals on the farm who were very friendly as well. The location was beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing. Will definitely stay here again when I find myself traveling back to Dublin for a visit.

A Week in County Meath
We began our extended vacation here. It is conveniently located near the airport so it was a great location for an early check in following our transatlantic flight as we had booked for the day before our arrival in Ireland. Great location to explore the areas surrounding Dublin.

Ireland - Country stay
We had an awesome time staying in the hen house which offers a master bedroom upstairs and two twin beds downstairs. A jive size until for a family of four. Every morning our pasture view has cows or goats. My daughter had an opportunity to feed them and there were two goats in particular that came running to us when they saw us. This is an awesome location which is a 30 minute bus ride to Dublin and only 8 minutes to food shopping and restaurants. There is also “GO GYM” that is four minutes down the road. I would highly recommend a rental car which we had. This gave us an opportunity to drive to Wicklow and enjoy the park as well as drive into town where you can park your car for th e day than take the bus into Dublin. Make sure you get the Leap card for the bus and you will save 30%. The cost was $3.35 one way from Ashborne to Dublin. Get off at O’Connell Street. The return bus is a little tricky as it is in an out of the way location but a short 6 minute walk. We could not have asked for better hosts and truly enjoyed our stay.

A touch of country life
The Henhouse apartment was very comfortable, and the setting on the farm is just lovely. Everyone was friendly, from the caretaker to the cats.

Beautiful Place in the Country
This was ta great place to stay . We surrounded by green pastures, and yet, were close to town, and just a short drive to Dublin. The owner and caretaker were friendly and easily accessible for any questions we had. If you love animals, which we do, there were sheep right outside our apartment, and some friendly dogs and cats around to interact with. Perfect for those in our group missing their own fur babies.

We enjoyed our stay with Ciaran … well managed by Eva . Our grand daughters enjoyed feeding the baby lambs . The unit was clean and quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed . A good place to stay for north Dublin and the airport .

A Charming Farmhouse
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this charming farmhouse during our stay in the Dublin area. Waking up each morning to the baby sheep right outside our back door was a highlight of each day and it was extra special for the kids to be able to bottle feed them one morning with Ms Eva. The house itself had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay as a family of 5. The endless supply of hot water was a huge plus at the end of a long day. The location was perfectly situated to be close enough to everything but feel tucked away inside the property. The owners were so friendly and helpful during our entire stay no matter what we needed. I would highly recommend this wonderful property for anyone looking for a true Irish farmhouse experience.

Truly an Amazing and Cozy home
The home owner and property manager are wonderful to deal with and will gladly help in anyway they can. From the time we checked in until the time we left it was like being on our own cozy home on the farm. The rooms are spacious and the views are incredible.

The best stay on an Irish sheep farm!
My mom, sister and I loved our stay on Ciaran’s property. Having an entire place to ourselves was wonderful. Meeting Ciaran, his friend cats, and waking up to the sheep grazing in the pasture was the absolute best. We had everything we could have needed and Ciaran was a great help. For our first stay in Ireland, it was an absolute dream and we will have memories forever. HIGHLY recommend!

Bien placé pour aller à Dublin en bus (env 40 min)
Spacieux, bien équipé, facile d'accès et proche Dublin. Facilité de communication avec le propriétaire (Cyaran). Beaucoup d'informations utiles données par le propriétaire. Légères nuisances sonores liées aux passages de voitures et avions.

Liegt leider an einer am Tag viel befahrenen Straße
Insgesamt okay. Leider plätscherte Regenwasser im Wohnzimmer an der Innenseite der Scheibe runter. Die Betten waren gut und sauber. Der Geschirrspülerkorb war rostig und sehr verbogen. Alles in allem war es für zwei Nächte okay. Wir hatten für den Preis und die Beschreibung allerdings besseres erwartet.
