This is our second time staying at Bearidise and we will be back again. The location is perfect for hiking in the mountains, exploring nearby towns, and experiencing Asheville. Quiet and secluded and perfect hosts. Love it!
I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again! Everything was comfortable and relaxing. It was quiet and lovely and everything I was looking for in a vacation rental. Communication with the property owner was clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend this location!
This was the second time I stayed at Bearadise in the past two months. It is consistently clean, comfortable and quiet. The price was reduced from when I first stayed there at Christmas to my second stay in February. I assume because it was the off season, but it was one of the reasons I chose to stay there.
Had a wonderful time at bearidise and would love to come back!
The only thing that needs fixing is that master bedroom ceiling fan, cant turn it on.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time. It was quiet and cozy. A great lil place to get away from the big city noises.
Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. It is far enough away from Asheville to be quiet yet not so far that you feel isolated. It is not stocked as well as some of the places we have stayed but not a huge issue for us. Enjoyed the late evenings and early mornings in the hot tub. If you are traveling on a motorcycle rethink this location, we fortunately didn't bring the bike as the lane would have made it difficult to get in and out. Otherwise very pleased with the property.
Bearidise was exactly what I was looking for! I was in Asheville visiting my two grown daughters and was needing someplace quiet and away from the bustle of the city and the holidays.
The kitchen was fully equipped. The gas fireplace was easy to use and made it cozy at night. The hot tub was much appreciated after a busy day with my daughters. The king bed was just the right firmness, with lots of pillows.
There were only a few very minor things that were lacking, including, dishtowels, a box of tissues, and sugar packets.
I will definitely keep Bearidise in mind for my next trip to Asheville.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Adequate
The views were very pretty from the back deck and out front. Overall, the house was fine. However, there were many minor details overlooked. The hot tub had murky water, many blinds didn't work, the fan in the primary bedroom did not work, and the floors had not been swept or vacuumed in a while. We pretty much only slept in the house (we were out and about otherwise), so these inconveniences were minor but noticeable.

We loved it here! The only thing I would recommend is leaving a citronella candle on the porch for the mosquitoes, this place was still great though!

my visit
Great place to stay. Really enjoyed the view. Wasn't far from town which was great. Enjoyed the hot tub. Great from family vacation or just to relax. Will come again.
This cabin was clean, well stocked and in a beautiful setting. We had some issues with the hot tub but Eric and Joey were prompt and helpful and super friendly. The fire place kept it warm and cozy and It was so great to be able to bring our dog as well!
A few updates would be nice but overall this is the Perfect place for a quiet getaway!
This was our first cabin rental in the mountains, and we had a practically perfect time!
The cabin was everything advertised, and we were there at peak fall foliage colors. The cabin did not disappoint. The trees in our immediate area were in full color, as was the entire area.
The cabins amenities were wonderful as well. I kinda wish the fireplace was wood burning rather than gas, but I suppose liability prevents that. But the firepit outside was a nice bonus! And the hottub made for a great way to end the evening.
Overall a truly wonderful experience and well worth the cost. Very very happy!
This was exactly what we needed. A cabin in the woods where we could bring our fur family. Everything was smooth sailing and the owner was responsive to anything we needed. There is a little trail around the property which was also very fun!
Everything at this location was exactly as listed. Great getaway for a few days. Easy location to get to a short distance from Asheville. Hot tub and fireplace were great additions to have in the winter time. There is plenty of space in all the rooms and every you need is at this location.
Cottage was clean, but could use a larger shower. Had an issue with the fireplace pilot but had that corrected in no time. Great response time from the property owner.
We really enjoyed our mountain getaway, and the photos do not do justice. The property is continually being renovated and updated photos should be posted. The new hot tub was fantastic, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The mattress was a little stiffer than we like, but otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning for our anniversary in December.
