Welcome to the Blue Heron House at Lake Erie!
Our charming lakeside cabin sits right on Lake Erie and offers stunning views for guests to enjoy.
The cabin offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a full kitchen and a cozy reading loft with stunning lake views.
Enjoy sitting on the porch while taking in lake views or sit around the fire pit and roast s'mores.
Blue Heron House is located minutes from Geneva-On-The-Lake/Ashtabula Harbor/Public Beaches/Wineries and more!

THE SPACE:

Living Room/Kitchen:
Enter into the open concept space with a couch & chair in the seating area plus a small table that seats 2 with central air/heating throughout. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances with the basic necessities for cooking a meal.

Master Bedroom:
Located on the main floor, the master bedroom has a queen bed, full closet, and a dresser.

Loft Bedroom:
Accessible by staircase, the loft bedroom has a queen bed, small sitting area, and cubed shelves to store belongings.

Bathroom:
Simple bathroom with a walk-in shower and small sink area. Towels for guests located in each bedroom. Toilet paper provided.

Front Loft:
This is a small sitting area/reading nook that is only accessible via ladder. There is a chaise lounge and lots of pillows to relax and view the lake from the window, while enjoying music from the record player.

Outside:
The front porch has a bench and 2 chairs to enjoy the lake view. There is a small side yard area with a picnic bench and small fire pit. Use of fire pit is at your own risk. There are several local suppliers of fire wood for purchase.

The description dated there was a pull out sofa bed .. there was not. It was just a sofa. We needed that but we packed an air mattress! . Loved the cabin and location to downtown Geneva on the lake. Thank you a wonderful stay.

This place was so cute. My boyfriend and I only stayed for one night but we would love to come back in the future. The beams up by the ceiling could use a little dusting but everything else was perfect. It is VERY small. Perfect for a couple (or even 2 couples) but it would be tight with kids

Cute and cozy with Lake view

This was a nice spot to stay after a day of antique shopping and walking the strip in Geneva-On-Lake. Very quiet area. The cabin is very nicely decorated. There were even a few snacks and coffee. We will definitely be back and next time hope to stay for more than one night.

Exceptional Escape

We booked this cabin for the 2024 solar eclipse. We loved it so much that we extended our trip! We appreciate all the effort Joe and Amy put into decorating the cabin. It had so many creative touches, and we loved the Easter decorations and twinkle lights. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We felt instantly relaxed upon arrival with the beautiful view. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and chill out. We spent so much time on the porch relaxing while looking at the beautiful Lake Erie. We loved the sound of the blackbirds and a bald eagle flew right by us. We were even lucky enough to experience an incredible total solar eclipse from the firepit area outside. The surrounding areas are amazing to explore - we loved Ashtabula, Walnut Beach, the Giant Eagle grocery, Murphy’s Pub, Rennick´s Meat Market, Marianne‘s Chocolates, Breakaway Beach, and we took a one hour day trip to Presque Isle State Park. We will always remember this trip and were very sad to leave the cabin. We would love to stay here again one day.
