"All the first floor windows were unlocked when we arrived. Ants swarmed any food put out. Hot tub was not working. Trash left out in some areas. Lots of dust on bedding and blinds. It was definitely not what we were expecting."

"Gorgeous house and beautiful views. The owner was very helpful and communicative. We stayed here for our wedding with our wedding party and we all had a great time! If I had one complaint there were SO many bugs you could not enjoy the balcony’s without literally getting swarmed and the hot tub was full of them. I understand this can not be fully controlled but I do feel more preventatives could be put in place"

"Inside was cute and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I. Strip was in easy walking distance. Bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here in number 7. Don’t judge a book by its cover as the outside is definitely an older cottage."

"Very easy, inconvenient check-in, a quiet and comfortable little area with plenty of options of things to do if you plan to stay for more than a few days. Also very accommodating to quick one night stays if needed."

"We stayed off season to attend an event. The cottage was super clean with lots of personal touches. The owner made us feel very welcome to be there. We cooked our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. It was a short walk to the lake which was frozen when we went but can imagine a summer stay would be lots of fun in this location. The cottage was shoveled and salted and there was plenty of parking. Great communication. We will plan on coming back here for next years event."

"The property owner cancelled my reservation 10 days before we were scheduled to stay. My wife and I were left without a place to stay on our 42nd wedding anniversary forcing us to come home early from our GOTL trip. I was refunded what I had paid but the owner failed to respond when questioned about why I was left hung out to dry on July 4. I'm guessing it was all about the $$"

"We really enjoyed our stay in the Lemon Drop Cottage. It was clean with a comfortable bed, wonderfully decorated, in a great location, and had everything we needed plus access to the lake and plenty of room for our dog."

"The room was nice for a weekend stay. The air conditioner worked but seemed rather loud. The hot water in the bathroom sink didn't get very warm but the shower did. Overall it was a nice little room."
"The metal roof was really loud during the several storms that came through, but that's probably not the usual weather. There needs to be another suitcase stand in the closet, that would really help since there's no dresser. The bathroom barn door needs adjusted, it was kind of hard to open with no handle on the inside, and it came off the track easily. Decent place otherwise, close to a lot of nice places. I recommend the breakfast place "The Little Pie Shop and Cafe" 2 minute to the east, super cheap and good food."
