This hotel seems to have lost its mojo. I think it might have been excellent in the 50s and 60s but today it’s a bit outdated and drab. The older staff do not speak any English some of the younger staff need to be called to translate. The room had no character but the view out the window was pretty nice. The saving grace was the dinner and breakfast buffet. The reason I stayed here was it was the only hotel near Kumamoto that had a room on a Saturday night. At $350 I expected more.

施設が広大、部屋が北ウィング、かなりの距離を歩きます。 再建途中、24年12月リニューアルとありましたが途中で他店のの外壁ははがれてぼろぼろちょっとびっくりでした。宿泊した部屋の内部に問題はありませんでしたが、途中の通路等暗くて壁紙等も茶色で薄暗く昭和感をを否めません。 途中に北ウィング迄何mとかの案内があれば不安も払拭出来ましたけど。しかし部屋からの眺望は最高でした。 たまたま腰が悪く歩くのが大変だっったこともあります。

プールは小学校までなら楽しめる規模だと思う。食事も美味しく、種類も豊富で良かった。しかし、部屋の鍵が開かない。毎回５分以上格闘しなければならなかった。これが残念。本気で何とかして欲しい。他のもっと安いビジネスホテルでも見たことがない。何度もいうが本気で何とかして欲しい。
