Beautiful river front
Beautiful river front property. Lots of birds to watch, a gator and manatees swam by! We docked our boat right there and went out for cruises and fishing. Very quiet.

Amazing!
What a beautiful property to relax and enjoy a true vacation! Everything was as described. The hosts were so pleasant and accommodating. We fished off the dock, went canoeing in the canal and saw so much wildlfe! My son (10) said it was the best Florida experience hes had so far!

Natural Florida!
I have been coming here for years and always have a great time! Beautiful spot on the river, peaceful, setting, and a beautiful home! Over the years, I’ve seen abundant wildlife, manatees, alligators, and otters. To be, this is how Florida is supposed to be!

Just lovely
Truly a beautiful property. We fish and kayak and were able to do both without leaving the yard.! House had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. I would say the wi-fi was spotty..if you are depending on that for work. Easily one of the cleanest well equipped places we have rented, oh, and the view……incredible.

Breathtaking View

Great Gem
Beautiful property on the river, home is comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for making food. The porch was a nice place to sit and relax while watching the rain. The view of the river was outstanding! Could live there honestly. Easy directions too.

Perfect getaway without being "too" far away
This cozy place was perfect for an extended weekend of dock fishing and campfires. Quiet, clean, well-equipped - great owners, very pleased with this experience. I love to fish, but I'm just not very good at catching the good ones, lol. Used shiners (purchased at the Citgo down the road, kept in a bucket with a bubbler to keep them alive), caught a couple of decent sized gars, ha. They're fun to catch but be prepared to cut and release--they're ugly monsters with teeth! Otherwise the fish were biting, just couldn't manage to land the nice bass that I had on my line numerous times! Took the canoe out for a short trip and back. Oh, and we met the alligator that lives in the canal...he comes out around dusk every evening. Well, he said 'hello' but minded his own business, which was fine by me. The fire pit was really awesome. Great for keeping the bugs at bay and chilly evenings. Speaking of which... I made "chili" in the crockpot the first day and then just hung out doing nothing but enjoying nature and some cold ones for a few days -- best therapy ever for a workaholic! Tip: be sure to look up -- the sky is amazing pre-dawn and at night, especially if you're a townie and are used to city lights all the time. The sunrise is spectacular here as well!

Location, location, location
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway and had some great family time together. The weather was rainy for most of our stay but that didn't affect us too much. The view was fantastic and we loved being able to spend time on the screened patio to enjoy it. There was a really nice cross breeze there as well which I would imagine is nice for cooling off in hotter weather. We had everything we needed, the house was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the comfortable beds as well. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog because she's family too! We did find it difficult to watch some on demand TV as we repeatedly got an error after every few minutes of viewing but we had a workaround. We had brought our laptop and set up a mobile hotspot on my phone to the laptop which we connected to the TV with the HDMI cable they provide. Just wanted to share that in case it is of any help to future guests. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home and make some family memories. :)

River Paradise
This was an absolutely beautiful location right on the St. John river and the house had plenty of windows to sit and watch from inside. We were there during the hurricane (which wasn't bad) but there was plenty of rain and wind. We even enjoyed watching that. The hosts absolutely thought of everything and it was well stocked with linens, paper products, even spices and coffee. We loved it and will definitely stay there again. Thanks host Gina!

Great for nature lovers
Such a relaxing place to stay. The view of the river is breathtaking. The backyard is lovely with plenty of shade. (Great Horned Owls visited in the evening) We stayed 2 nights and never left the property. The kitchen is well equipped for anything you'd like to cook. We made all our own meals and used the outside grill as well. Very clean, private and well maintained. Hope to go back again soon.

Absolutely incredible home and river front property
wow. The property location was simply stunning. Great location on riverside, lots of trees, shade, privacy and views of the river. The screened porch to sit on, the dock on the river, the picnic table in a perfect spot with a view and shade. Just stunning. We used the canoe 3 times and went out on the river. The boat traffic was in the specified channel that was on the other side of the river from the house which made it quieter for us and for the canoe but was fun to see the boats go by. Not much boat traffic anyway, was a quiet real wild Florida river experience. House was super comfortable and well appointed and we used the fridge, kitchen to heat up meals, etc. A+ house and location. We would love to stay again.

Family fun on St. John’s River
We had a great stay at this property. Upon arrival, the house was super clean and tidy. The home was outfitted with everything you would need for a family get away on the river. The view from the backyard was spectacular. The homeowners were very responsive when we couldn’t figure out the WiFi password. We rented a boat at Castaway’s on the River and spent the day at Silver Geln Springs. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling with children and family.

Peace and quiet
The house is lovely (LOVE the floors) and the screen porch is perfect for gazing at the river. The neighborhood was super quiet (we were there Sun-Fri). We visited Juniper Springs, Salt Springs, and DeLeon Springs. Salt Springs was our favorite, then Salt (DeLeon was very crowded). Alexander was closed due to a gator! My only complaint is the toilet in the bathroom is super tight when you are a plus size person, but the second bathroom was fine.

Guys Trip
This is the 2nd time booking this property. The property has been updated since the first stay and looks very nice. The property is very quiet and serene and comfy. The guys enjoyed their weekend fishing and hanging out. We look forward to booking again!

Overall stay was great. There were a few things that needed fixed but the positives were far more great. Loved being able to fish out the back yard and seeing all the wildlife and the firepit and playing cornhole. The house was comfortable and clean.

Pleasant place
We had a nice two-night stay on the banks of the St John's River, lots of wildlife to observe. The sun rises over the river were beautiful and great to view on the wonderful back porch. Nice property. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Great place, too short of stay!
This place along the river exceeded expectations, we just wanted a place to stop by this part of Florida for two nights and we wished it was 4! Great sunrise across the water and the manatees munching out by the dock in the afternoon. It had everything we needed in the cupboards. The Springs nearby are very pretty. Even ate some pancakes at the Sugar Mill, really great experience!

Birding Hub
This home was a perfect location for our week of birding. Not only did we see over 30 species from the property alone we were close to Yearling Trail, Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and Lake Apopka. The house was super comfy, apply supplied, quiet neighborhood with an excellent view.We enjoyed the hammock, grill, fire pit, canoe, corn hole and fishing dock. We really enjoyed the boat rentals close by that allowed us to visit Silver Glen Springs where we sighted 11 manatees! We hated to leave it felt so much like home. Definitely want to come again!

RELAXING STAY
Better than the pictures, wouldn't hesitate to book again. The house is spotless and well stocked. If you forget something, they more than likely have it. The views from the back yard are amazing. Dinner at Sparky's down the road was great.

Stay once and you'll be back!
This house is a great place to relax and enjoy St. Johns River and the surrounding region. 50 feet off the screened-in front porch the River is close to a mile across. You can see the river passing by for miles. The small dock with a bench provides a great observation point. Wildlife, particularly birds and the fish they feed off are all around and for the photographer this is a worthy challenge! The house is clearly a 5 star both nicely furnished and well-appointed after the recent renovation. The Premier hosts are gracious and available. So stay a while, enjoy yourself and you’ll want to come back, as we do.

The home was clean, spacious, fully stocked kitchen, and has such a beautiful view of the St. John’s River. The Host could not have been more accommodating to make sure their home was freshened up for our arrival after Hurricane Nicole. I highly recommend this rental.
