"My wife and I just had a Halloween weekend in Co Clare at the boat house with all our family. 8 adults, 3 teenagers and 3 young ones. From my first contact with Michele, I was made feel quite at home long before the weekend even started. We arrived late and being October it was great to find the house warm and cosy. There were freshly baked loaves, cake, brownies in the kitchen with milk and ice-cream etc in the fridge - fantastic..The house easily facilitated all our needs, with ample entertaining spaces (excellent TV bar area upstairs with great views of Shannon estuary), kitchen and dining room coped with the 14 of us perfectly. Bedrooms and bathrooms have everybody the original spaces they needed. Even though it was Oct/Nov the jacuzzi was well used by quite a few of us. The area of South West Clare gave us exactly what we wanted for our late autumn break, surprisingly good weather, cliff walks and fantastic views.Overall everybody had very enjoyable short break in a very comfortable and spacious family friendly home.Thx for all that Michele."

"Difficult to find, don’t trust the GPS, go to Hughes Bar, it’s just a bit down the road from there. Once there it is the most beautiful, magical place I have ever been. The grounds are wonderful, with a babbling brook in the back, behind the deck. Caroline and Timmy were most helpful getting us to the cottage and settled in. I can’t say enough good things, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience."

"My extended family of 15 stayed here during our trip and loved it! Maretta and her family were wonderful and provided everything we needed and more! The kids loved all of the puzzles and games at the house, the adults made use of the barn space (which was incredible), and we all felt cozy and at home. We loved getting to play fetch with the dogs ajd petting the goats and cats. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable, and the property was stunning. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer! Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us! "

"By far the oldest house we have slept in. The owners did an excellent job making it comfortable and charming. We loved that the host went through the house with us upon arrival and gave us an orientation. He even picked apples and pears from the yard and put them in a basket for us on the cozy table. The house is quite large with lots of sitting areas, a nice fireplace and cozy beds. We loved the town Adare and highly recommended this stay"
