"We came here for the 4th of July to keep our dog from being stressed out. The fireworks in Athens were still prevalent, but it was low stress for him. We only had one neighbor. The area was super quiet and peaceful. All amenities we needed were there (one of the steak knives did snap in two while I was cutting something soft. I threw it away). The bed was comfortable (and no, the doggo didn't get on it...he's too short anyhow to get up there). It was extremely clean and tidy and pleasant to stay in. We loved the porch and watching the turtles, koi, tadpoles and frogs. The fire pit was a great idea but it was too hot to enjoy, and the little trails around the property were great for dog strolls. While remote, Athens is just a few minutes away, and hiking, lakes nearby made it a great spot! Thank you for having us in your home!"
