We had a great time staying on this property. The host was accessible and communicated clearly. The cottage itself was relaxing with a comfortable bed and hot shower. The trails behind the cottage were fun to hike. Completely recommend!

Very nice little cottage. Fit me and my two friends well enough but would be very comfortable for two people or a couple plus one other person. We loved hiking around the property. Beautiful hiking trails and pretty extensive too. Had a blast exploring them. The host was friendly and welcoming but gave us plenty of privacy. Will definitely come back someday.

Great place!

We stayed here while visiting our daughter at OU and were so pleased with the setting and the space. We’d definitely stay again! My only reason for 4 stars on check in was because of a mixup with another guest on the property, but we worked it out and all ended up great.

Quiet and beautiful

The cabin was very cute and has a beautiful setting. Close to Athens but far enough away to get away from it all. We especially loved the very friendly free range chickens.

Perfect place to get away

Everything we needed for a few quiet days of rest and relaxation, including doing some baking and cooking. Our host was available and responsive when we had questions. It was perfect for some much needed quiet time. Highly recommend this property and host. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage

The stay was everything we needed and more! The host accommodated our dog which I am very grateful for. The compost toilet was really neat! The included games, streaming services, and Xbox were a nice surprise for our daughter! Will definitely be staying again on our next trip to Athens!

Im sure its great for the right situation

This little cabin, im sure would be great for someone coming to explore the 133 acres and have some time out in nature. It was fairly clean. The heat is space heaters and the ac is a window unit, and the TOILET IS COMPOSTING (I missed that detail in the description, and we were not ok with it....). Also, the hot water and the entire shower is a bit hard to understand, so we didnt take showers during our stay. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with,.I think the description for this property could use a little more accuracy, but its not terrible. You just need to know what youre getting into before you come. I obviously didnt oay close enough attention.

Great value for a place to stay when visiting your bobcats if you like the outdoors. The air fryer was in need of a good clean and it smelled a little musty but it was a rainy weekend. Maybe a dehumidifier or damp rid would minimize that. I will defenately be back again

Very responsive owner and we had a wonderful time including a hike on the trails. Had small issue with the instant hot water however the owner responded right away and it worked fine for us. We choose not to use the compost toilet but managed just fine. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

Tiny but decent. Quiet. But bring any dining and eating necessities as it's limited that way. Old air fryer and coffee pot there. Liked the outdoor spaces to wander for sure. Hot water jiffy as it's an on demand heater so that can change quickly too.

The floor was damp throughout the weekend and felt sticky at times, so we had to keep our shoes on. It was a bit of an adjustment to the compost toilet but overall it was a pretty nice property with some getting used to.

Took my first solo trip with just my dog and I to do some hiking/exploring. This was the perfect little getaway spot for us. It was very cozy and we loved exploring the property! We even hit up strouds run park and the beach which was only a 7 minute drive from the property! We definitely will be visiting again soon
