Perfect stay for me and son.
The whole experience was wonderful. The apartment was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside was, we couldn't stay longer! Faisal couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

This is a newly renovated property with quality finishes and workmanship. The junior suite is spacious, well laid out, efficient and has good lighting. The location of the apartments is not the greatest, but it's not bad. It is a short walk over a small bridge to the Athens railway station. The walk is fine during the day, but in late evening I would recommend taking a taxi for a few euros.

A great stay
The apartment was wonderful, and checkin was easy. A great way to immerse yourself in the Greek culture. Also very close to the metro for your visit to the Acropolis or anywhere else. Our host was extremely helpful with local information and guiding us to where we wanted to go.

Great location
Perfect location if you need to use the main train station-less than 5 mins walk. Close to bakery, grocery stores & restaurants. Spacious room with kitchen very clean & comfortable.

Great place and great price
I stayed in this apartments for 4 nights. The manager was very helpful in every way. Although we arrived in a late flight he was waiting for us to explain the features of the apartment. He had already sent the info with the codes in a text message, still he came to greet us and make sure we found the apartment comfortable. If I go back to Athens, definitely will stay there.

It was really nice inside with only a few minor things I did not like. It was easy to find and quite a few different restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It was pretty noisy in the area and it was loud between floors. I could hear the people next to me at any time of day or night.

Great apartment. The property manager was onsite daily and attentive to any needs. Had my own carport parking spot which was golden!!! Great neighborhood with lots of amenities. Walkable to Acropolis if you are even remotely active. About 2 miles.

Lovely hotel
Amazing hotel! Very communicative and knows what he’s talking about. Very helpful for transport and explaining the metro. Good mid spot between the airport and the acropolis. Wonderful overall!

The only request I have is that in the shower/tub, please install the shower bracket up about shoulder height so I can stand and use the shower. Additionally, the neighborhood was pretty dirty/graffiti. The staff was AMAZING! Our concierge is super nice! he made the stay wonderful!

Its a perfect place to stay in Athens. Located by the Central Train Station and the Metro its perfect for those of you sane enough not to drive in this city. The apartment itself is spacious, immaculate, and fully equipped. Our on-site host, Faisel, was like having a personal valet!

Alekos is great! Just know the details :)
Let's start with the warning: don't stay here if you need to have English speaking facilities all around you, and like the touristy vibe! This little condo-tel is in a real Greek neighborhood, and most of the local businesses don't speak good English, if at all. However, to us that was part of the adventure and charm. We got the feeling that we were definitely outsiders; not in a bad way, but you can sense that these people have a routine life, and you're just not a part of it. Alekos Apartment's owner/manager Hercules was always amazingly communicative using WhatsApp. The apartment we had was with two floors; however the second floor was hard to access with a very small spiral staircase. Definitely wouldn't recommend for someone with mobility issues. Beautiful views from that top balcony though! The rooms were comfortable and functional; full kitchen will allow you to cook some meals at home if you need to. Alekos has a elevator to get you to your floor, which is greatly appreciated. Greece requires you to throw your toilet paper in the trash, NOT in the loo... and Alekos takes care of that. We found the showers in both the upstairs and downstairs modern but not easy to use; there were no shower curtains or barriers so you just ended up making a mess when you showered. I guess that's the modern way? Access to the Metro is 15 minutes away, easy enough but requires walking a lot of stairs. I would recommend staying there to anyone who wants a good off-the-path place in Athens

Love the Athens apartments. Safer to walk in the street than sidewalk.
Local Kebap place. Menu is in Greek. Owner lady isn't mean but not very nice either. Just order efficiently.

We enjoyed every bit of our experience while staying at the Alekos apartment. It started with the assistance and ready communication we had from our host, Faisal, who kindly checked on us while we struggled with some travel difficulties. He met us at the apartment when we arrived and gave us a tour of our beautiful apartment and made himself available to assist during our stay. The apartment was kept impeccably- it was clean, modern and really enhanced our stay in Athens (our first but certainly not our last). We couldn't imagine a better place to stay and will certainly make a point of returning to the Alekos when we are fortunate enough to get back to Athens.

The property is in a terrible neighborhood, security gates on the windows and doors. Athens isnt a safe city you have to becareful of robberies. If you want a late night drink or food this place is not for you. There is nothing there but a nice bakery amd supermarket. This is really a place for business travelers with an extended stay. There isnt a front desk. Hercules comes for check in and check out but if not present you have to message through whats app. He does respond quicklt. Basically, if its your first time visiting Athens I recommend staying in a hotel.

Dear lady. I would like to inform you that our area is very, very safe for Greeks and much more for tourists. There has never been a case of theft or robbery since 2012 when I was there. It is a quiet area full of families. I really can not understand that your ministry in bulk seemed terrible. Thank you very much for your comments.

First of all, our host and property manager, Hercules is an excellent and worderful host. He helped us in everything, from transportation from and to airport to tips in getting around Athens and tours out of the city. Didn’t at all expect 4/5* but extreme lack of basic hygiene. Realllllllly disappointingly dirty! Blood on sheets and dirty towels as well as hair on kitchen items. Contradictory to the claim of ‘extra Covid enhanced cleanliness’!

When we arrived at the property we were told that check in time would be 2pm. We were unable to get into the apartment by 2 because someone was still cleaning. We were exhausted after 24 hours of flying. The host desperately tried to urge the person cleaning without avail. We fell asleep on the couch out front waiting. Because the cleaning person took extra time we assumed that it would be spotless. This was not the case. There were webs in the bathroom, stains on the comforter, and water rings from drinks on the glass side tables. Although I was disappointment by those things, the host and the hospitality greatly outweighed the bad experience. I hope that they get this issue figured out because it seemed to happen a few more groups after us.

This was a short trip so I wasn't expecting anything grand. These apartments are really comfortable, spacious and a good place to relax. The beds were a tad hard but that's my only gripe about the accommodation. I do wish the housekeeper would have popped in on a more frequent basis; we were told it was every 2 days - we were there for 4 nights - and apart from bringing a change of linen and towels, she didn't appear even when it was requested. Apart from that, I would definitely stay here again. Must say a special thank you to Hercules, the manager; he was simply amazing!

The property was too big for 3 people. We occupied the whole 4th floor. Hercules was so helpful. He arraigned the the pick to and from the airport.

The apt. manager was great and very friendly. The apt. is clean and nice. The beds were pretty hard and the shower needs a place to put the wand. The surrounding area was not very nice, but the metro station is close.

The place to stay in Athens!
Hercules was the nicest host I've encountered at any accommodation, very helpful recommending sites and restaurants. The apartments were new and well furnished, location about 10 minutes from metro, free parking! If you are staying in Athens this is the place! The smallest critique I could make are the beds are stiff but that could just be everywhere in Greece.

Beautiful Modern Apartment
The apartment was beautiful, modern and we were greeted by the owner who showed us around and explained everything about the area. He even arranged transportation for us early one morning. There is nothing on Earth like Greek hospitality! The area itself isn’t really convenient to anything and although very affordable and safe, not a charming neighborhood.
