Online information sent for check in with codes for front door and room. Never saw any staff. Very clean room with kitchenette which had everything you may need to prepare a meal. Krups coffee machine with Nespresso style pods supplied. Bed was very comfortable. We could see the Acropolis in the distance from the balcony. Great place to stay for a short break in Athens.

The Hotel was not yet fully completed. Work was still done on the ground floor. Ventilation was incomplete. But the room was large and comfortable, and management very nice. The neighbourhood is great with the wonderful St. George’s Square just around the corner - circular and full of great Greek food restaurants.

Figleaf Stay

This is a modern hotel with keypad entry and no contact with anyone. It all worked fine and the hotel room had all you might need apart from milk for your tea or coffee. The roads outside are noisy and while there are several cafes nearby where you can enjoy a good breakfast there are no restaurants for an evening meal in the vicinity so you need to eat nearer the centre of Athens. The nearest metro station is 0.6 mile away so not too far but not that convenient either.

Hotel is very basic. Our AC wasn’t working, we had to call reception to come in and clean it so that it would work. It’s a decent hotel, but the neighborhood is not very nice. Be very careful when selecting a hotel in Athens, you have to really look at the Google maps to see if the neighborhood is nice.

Clean and comfortable. Very spacious room. Communication with staff was easy, by mail, sms and whats app. I had a few requests for the room, left a note in reception and everything was sorted out by the time I got back in the evening! It is a self checkin/out hotel in a quiet area, two metrostops from Monastiraki. Archeological museum and hopon/off stop just around the corner. Reasonably priced and highly recomended for a no fuss stay in beautiful Athens.

Great in general but feels unfinished

Really good in general. Our particular room had a lot of small details that looked unfinished or badly thought out. Number of the floor written in pencil on a wall. Doorframes and plinths with visible glue/foam. Shower without a curtain or glass pane got everything wet. And a weird triangular shape of the bathroom felt weird. It's just details, but the sum of them made an otherwise great visit lose the 5th star.

We arrived late at night and found that the room looked very different from the property shown in the photos. It was bare, shabby and poorly finished. Both bedside tables were broken, the desk was bent, the windows were filthy, and the bathroom was in poor condition. The shower head was broken, the floor drain did not work, and the bathroom flooded. The noisy fan did almost nothing to remove moisture. Sleeping was difficult because the air-conditioning unit was unbearably loud. We were offered another room, but it was even noisier due to street traffic. Thin doors and flimsy locks also allowed corridor noise into the room. The hotel felt unfinished and cheaply renovated. Electrical wires hung in the corridors, there were holes in the walls, and the bathroom tiles had been carelessly painted over. The main entrance could easily remain open, which did not feel secure. Loud music played continuously at the entrance, while staff smoked outside, making the atmosphere less pleasant. The area is busy, run-down and unpleasant at night, and the walk from the metro is long with luggage. Hotels.com advertised a 24-hour reception, but it was not staffed around the clock. I travel frequently and cannot understand the high ratings. This was not one isolated defect, but a poorly maintained property with weak security, serious noise problems and disappointing cleanliness. Even at a low price, it is poor value for money, and I would not recommend it.

Otel kısmen inşaat alanı, resepsiyon yoktu ve whatsapptan geç yanıt verildi, çarşaflar 1 hafta hiç değiştirilmedi. Havluları da özellikle söylemediğiniz sürece değişmiyorlar. Kısa konaklama için uygun, merkeze yakın, çevre sakin ancak otopark kısıtlı. Otopark alanı çok dar, yol üstü konaklama ihtiyacınız varsa biraz daha şehir dışında otopark dahil bir yer bulabilirsiniz.
