My husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway and we were very pleased with the Rose cabin. Everything was clean and had everything we needed or wanted. Hot tub was relaxing and so was the color changing fireplace. Very nice. We will definitely be booking again.
I think a new investment in a mattress would help, I woke up both days hardly able to move as my back hurt so bad. Laying on that mattress felt like I was laying in a dip. Had to rewash dishes before use as they were dirty. Was not aware of having to bring our own paper products as the list was not sent until we arrived. The hot tub was great though it really helped my back after not sleeping well.
The place was cute and clean. Great outdoor area. I was a little disappointed in a few things. The beds were so uncomfortable. There wasn’t even a salt shaker with salt, I felt there was a bare minimum when it came to supplies. I felt there should be some lighting near the firepit area, it was pitch black on that side of the cabin.
Told us to bring our own toilet paper which I felt shouldn’t be a requirement unless someone wanted a specific type. But overall it was a very cute cabin. Also, the larger bed was located in the common area (a studio) so there wasn’t much privacy.
My significant other and I rented the cabin for a long weekend getaway. Upon arrival the cabin was clean and smelled great. The location was prime and close to all of the attractions, food and brewery. We will rent again!
Our visit to Hocking Hills Cabins & Resorts will be a weekend we will never forget. The cabin and property were absolutely beautiful!! The location was perfect with close proximity to Hocking Hills State Park, many restaurants and convenience shopping. The resort is expanding with very modern cabins located further into the woods with an even more secluded and private setting. We will definitely be back and booking with this resort!!

The property was perfectly clean upon arrival and the hot tub was checked daily. There was plenty to do in the the surrounding area and I highly recommend the zip lining park across the street. My husband, two kids and I had a great time and enjoyed family fires and games nightly.

My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. We stay in Hocking Hills almost every January. I enjoyed the quick get away. It was clean, quiet, the hot tub was nice. I loved the bathroom set up. The bed was just okay. The other cabins are close so its not as private as I would have liked but everyone kept to themselves. The place is warm and cozy. Check in was easy. I would stay again. :-)
No privacy for the hot tub. The rest of the stay was great. The hot tub faces the street. That was unfortunate.

Terribly managed cabins
My husband and I arrived at the property at 9:30pm, on a Friday, after a 5 hour drive. We typed in the code to the cabin we booked and were surprised to find the cabin occupied by another couple. They were surprised to be barged in on in their pajamas. After talking to them, we found out that a staff person escorted them to the wrong cabin when they arrived earlier that day. They used the code they were provided with their booking. It didn’t work so they reached out to housekeeping (one of the only available phone numbers for evenings/weekends). Without confirming their booking, the housekeeper just gave them the code to the cabin they were standing in front of (the cabin we had booked). To try to fix the situation ourselves, we got the couple’s code to the cabin they were supposed to be in (clubhouse cabin), exchanged phone numbers and planned to stay the night in clubhouse cabin and sort things out in the morning. We typed in the code at clubhouse cabin and were surprised again by it being occupied. It took us an hour and a half to reach someone in charge to get us in another cabin. We hear this is not the first time this has happened there and cops even were called the last time. We will not be staying there EVER again. Poor service and management which is a shame because it was a nice cabin in the woods.
The cabin is located at a very quiet and peaceful location. Very clean and cozy. Lots of trees outside with woods around. Our only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower. Overall, this was another great family trip in the books.
The cabins are beautiful and clean. We stayed in the Rose. The only concern was the two glass doors going out to the patio had no window covering on them and I felt the cabin next to us could see our cabin at night.
It was a nice quiet getaway from living in a city. Everything about it was perfect. My only complaint, you could say, was I feel the sliding doors that lead to the back patio/hot tub could use some curtains on them or something to give a little more privacy. Other than that everything was great
We enjoyed the cabin. Our son really liked the fishing pond, and we appreciated the property manager welcoming us at the pond and giving us tips. Thank you!
