Great place to stay, in the heart of the city. Easy walking to many tourist attractions and museums. There was choice of restaurants, bars, cafes, and bakeries on every street within walking distance. Every ammenity we needed to live as usual was provided. There were 3 grocery stores in close proximity, and enough utensils and dishes to cook meals. We stayed in for about 1/3 of our meals, during our 4 weeks stay. Wifi was perfect the whole time, we didnt use the tv at all, just laptops for streaming.Check in was simple, with a lock box with keys and a second set in the apartment. The elevator in the building is really only for 1 person plus their bags.The first day we were in, there were tiny ants in the living room, but there was pest spray under the sink. The toilets in all of athens/greece dont accommodate toilet paper, so it is common to have a bin beside the toilet for paper waste. Also very common as I've seen is cockroaches. If you are careful to cover the floor drains and put the plug back in the tub when you are done, it is not a problem. Also, we couldnt figure out if there were ants or mosquitos in the bedroom, but I got about 2 bites per night, even though we sprayed the room once a week.To no fault of the host's, the upstairs neighbour was very loud our last 2 weeks of stay. Sounded like something on the balcony was scraping on the tiles, and an unbalanced washing machine wobbling all over the floor at all hours of the day and night.
