I travel to Athens often and for decades, and have stayed in many 5-star hotels: NO OTHER hotel is better value than Semiramis. The remodel of the pool and bar area is STUNNING. "Excellent hotel, wonderful view of the city and sight as well as the sea! Room 13 on the 14th floor, even numbered floors have the better view. Great breakfast, plenty of choice. Decor quite exotic and beautiful. Pool looked great on the top floor although how you would ever have time to swim with so much to see in the centre of Athens? No parasols around the pool as others have said but would be perfect on a cloudy day. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful, absolutely delicious food. All staff were friendly and helpful, cleaning and replenishment of room needs done as much or as little as you prefer. Thank you all for a great holiday."
"This place was truly a hidden gem! The rooms are neat, AC works fabulously, room service was quick, and their flat rate taxi to the airport (which arrives almost instantaneously) is a steal compared to what you'll see online. Breakfast was fresh, healthy, filling and so reasonably priced. There's a 7 minute walk in one direction to the metro station, with cafes and coffee shops, and a 5 minute walk in the other direction to St. George's Square with even more options. Overall, the staff were phenomenal and consistently made you feel welcome. Through their kind gestures and recommendations, it really made getting engaged in Greece that much more special. "
