The hotel needs some help in the maintenance, cleanliness and food quality standard areas. The room was not very clean. From the window sills to the walls, it had dead insects on the window sills. There was stuff on the walls. (who knows?). The room that we were in as you look out had 4 transforms ...

VERY run down. No remore for tv. Horrible smell in room. No phone in room. Shelf for clothes coming out of wall. Was told rooms were renovated a few years ago but it looked lije renovations had NEVER been done.

Hampton Inn Athens
The staff were friendly. One in particular helped me get back in my room when the something jammed in the door. It was clean and quiet.
