This could be such a great place, as the location and neighborhood was wonderful. The unit, a 2-room walkout partial basement was adequate, although a bit dark and the bed was overly soft. The small refrigerator/freezer had broken shelves and a freezer so in need of defrosting there was little room to use it. We were staying long enough that not having a freezer was a problem. The kitchen was sparsely outfitted: 3 dinner plates, 3 salad plates, etc, which was odd but we could live with it. The bigger problem was that the linen closet was literally empty, with two bath towels and wash cloths left on the bed, but no hand towels or kitchen towels. The bath mat had a muddy footprint on it (the plumber had been there right before) We asked for more towels and a clean mat. They brought a couple more bath items, no kitchen towels, and no clean bath mat. The owner had little interest in fixing our issues (refrigerator and linens). The VRBO description said there was laundry which would have allowed us to wash the bath mat, and it looked like a locked set of doors might have been that, but the owner said that there was no laundry and it had never been in the description When we directed him to his description, he said that was a mistake, but, last I looked, it was still there. The amenities also stated a bbq grill -- not there. The small outdoor spaced housed a trash can.
