Southwinds A7 Located in Oceanfront Complex Direct Oceanfront

Southwinds A7 is a non-smoking, 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located on the 2nd floor. Unit is oceanfront with views of the ocean. The condo has a full size kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and blender. Washers and dryers are located in a building beside the oceanfront pool. There is wireless internet, 2 TVs (one in the living room and one in the main bedroom). The main bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a bunk bed with a twin on the bottom and a twin on the top. Southwinds does not allow renters to have pets. This unit is available for weekly and partial weeks with a 2 night-minimum stay. 3, 6, and 9 months or monthly rentals are available after Labor Day. Monthly rentals include water, sewer, trash, cable, and partial electric. Please contact for rates on partial weeks. Rates include departure maid service and admin fee. Linens and trip insurance are optional and available for additional costs. Tax is 12.75%.

Wonderful stay!! We were so pleased with the condo itself, the location and ocean view - property manager Anne Marie was excellent to work with - we even extended our stay an extra night! Definitely recommend and will come back here again!

Awesome Trip

The place was awesome! We loved it. The master bath, however, was just too small. I think I would have sacrificed the closet to make a larger bath. Also in the king sheet set, the flat sheet was actually a queen, although it was marked king, and the queen sheet set only had 1 pillowcase. The beach was very accessible, as was the pool. All in all, I will book A7 again.

This unit had great views and the beach was beautiful the pool as well. Downsides, The Wi-Fi never would connect it was very quirky and didn't make sense. There are some weird checkout requirements as well (beyond the normal ones) and when we arrived, all of the beds were made and looked ready to go only to find there were no sheets on any of the beds. We found them in a tote and had to make up all of the beds which is not convenient when You are Tired from Traveling. Also the master bathroom is extremely tiny and difficult to utiliyes but there's always the main bathroom. There are a lot of extras for The beach and that was nice!

Southwinds is always great!

I was hesitant about booking this property because of the photo showing the view from the balcony. It seemed in the picture that the trees and bushes were overgrown and obstructing the view. I am thankful I decided to take a risk bc the view was amazing and we ate breakfast outside on the balcony every morning that the weather allowed. This was our 5th stay at Southwinds and each time we have stayed in a different condo. This unit is now our favorite! Cons: The slats on the bottom twin bunk easily come out causing the mattress to sink. The host is not easy to contact by telephone but is pretty quick to respond by text. You will not find a tourist book telling about the area like most units offer but if you are familiar with the area you will have no problem! Pros: ICE COLD air conditioner, everything you need in the kitchen plus some extras, additional chairs in the cleaning closet, plenty of extra blankets and pillows. I was pleased to find dish washing liquid, hand soap, paper towel and toilet paper for each bathroom when we arrived. Cleaning products were also available just in case you need to clean up a mess. The place was beautifully decorated. The windows offered a bright environment even during the rain showers and of course that view. Oh and there is no charge for the use of the washer and dryer in the laundry facility.

The host cancelled our reservation as we were driving there

I missed the statement in the property description stating that linens are not supplied. (I've never seen this before in a vacation rental, so I wasn't looking for it.) There was no mention that paper products are not supplied. We were driving two days to the property. The evening before arrival, the host emailed that we didn't rent linens and paper products were not supplied. I replied my disappointment. We then planned to buy linens and paper products. However, the next morning as we were en route to the property, I received an email informing me that the host cancelled the reservation. No discussion. We had to make other arrangements from the phone in the car. Without much opportunity to shop around for accommodations beginning that night, we were forced to pay considerably more for lodging. The host refunded our money, but cancelling our reservation without discussion while we were en route was very rude.

The location of the condo is perfect. I enjoyed the ocean views from the living room and the balcony. I cannot express how much I enjoyed my stay in this unit. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway!

Great oceanview condo that had been completely updated. Grounds were well maintained and clean. Only downside was, due to end of season, there were many contractors & vehicles doing repair work during our stay.
