8.4/10 Very good! (1,006 reviews)
Our stay was very disappointing. Staff seemed very not interested in being helpful from the moment we arrived. We had large pieces of luggage and the staff member that checked us in told us to use an elevator that caused us to have to carry our luggage up a set of stairs after getting off the elevator only to find out later we could have used a different elevator. When we got to the room there was only one towel and the soap dispenser was broken. The room was very cramped and seemed very cheap. Barely room to open the suitcases. We arrived late and the location of the hotel meant we basically only had one restaurant we could walk to (Alba Pizza) but at least it was good. We would never stay at this hotel or chain again.

Clean, modern room with a cozy feel. Great location near Enge station. Staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Locke am Platz and would stay again.

"No coffee/tea in room unless you ask for it. travelled with 2 others in separate rooms, same rate, same dates. each room different. One had balcony with sweeping views, one had no A/C, one was in the basement/dungeon no views. Terrible value for cost. All hype because of amazing views and hotel location. ..."

8.8/10 Excellent! (161 reviews)
"This hotel is a lovely little hotel in an exceptional location in Lucerne. It's right by the river, surrounded by places to eat and a very short walk from the station and boat docks. A perfect location for getting out on trips. It's typical of an inner city hotel, so the rooms are small and bathrooms ..."
