This cabin is the best secret in star valley.
This is our 3rd stay at this cabin. Courtney and Rich are the best host we have found. We have been going to star valley my entire life because half our family is from Thayne. We have a group of 12 sometimes 4 trailers, Courtney and Rich have always had the lot cleared to fit us all without even really asking. The cabin is in great shape

Christmas Memories
We stayed here for 4 days right after Christmas as a three-generational Christmas getaway. This was the perfect place! Big and open enough not to be bumping into each other for games and dining. (10 people 17 years and older) It also had a fun basement with a pool table and movie set up that the younger generation loved. The older parents LOVED the cozy fireplace and barely left their seats by the fireplace. The place was very clean and well stocked with essentials. Checking in and out was super easy. The setting was beautiful especially with the heavy fog that turned all the trees into a winter wonderland. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great spot for some family time
We had four adult couples and one single person at the house and there was an abundance of room for all of us. We were looking for a place to spend some quality time together, and this was ideal. The place was spotless, all amenities were in the locations as advertised and all worked. When I initially had a bit of trouble getting the fireplace going, I was able to immediately reach the owner who assured me that it just sometimes took a bit of time; which it did, starting up as I was chatting with him. After checkout, one of my sisters realized she had left some jewelry behind. We were able to contact the owner and, with the help of the cleaning service, she was able to get it all back. I highly recommend this location and these hosts.

Rural, Yet Accessable
The home is very large and airy, with indoor colors that add to the feeling of openness. The yard and other property is very well kept. It's capacity for 14 people to sleep is nicely laid out. All the amenities we expected were there and easily accessible. The location is within a one-day round trip distance to two world-class national parks. Two small towns within 15 miles have all the grocery stores, banks and hardware stores you need for the stay. Wonderful stay.

Amazing mountain get-away
This property was AMAZING! The space was much larger than expected, fit my wedding party and their families perfectly. Very clean house, unkept yard, and huge deck to sit on and enjoy the relaxing views of the mountains. The hosts were very responsive, usually within an hour or so, and they were very kind to work with us on having a few extra people stay with us. Would definitely book with this house again! Thank you for helping our wedding weekend be so special!

Fun cabin near desired activities
The cabin was perfect for our family. Plenty of room with a practical layout for two-three families to have their space. The porch is beautiful for any time of the day. The yard was fun for the kids. There is a swing-set within walking distance (not on the property). Beautiful views. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. One thing we really appreciated was how much it felt like home and not a hotel. It is stocked with literally everything you need down to a permanent marker for me to label sandwich bags. Everything was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed Afton, Wilson, and Jackson Hole. This is a great place to stay.

Great weekend in Auburn
This place is perfect for our gang of family and friends. Not too far from trailhead for snowmobiling. The house fits all of our needs. This is our second stay and we hope to return again next winter!

Great Cabin in a Beautiful Area
We stayed at the cabin for a weekend in February while we we're in town to watch the Shriner's Cutter Races. The cabin is located in a great little area, in the morning we say beautiful sun rises with fog on the ground just above the snow, it was amazing! The cabin was big, beautiful, clean and well taken care of. We saw a herd of deer jumping through the neighborhood, there was the nicest little border collie dog from the neighbors that came to visit us everyday. She was the sweetest girl ever, we we're sad to leave her behind, but she made sure to follow us out of the neighborhood before she returned to her home. We will definitely look at staying in this cabin again in the future we had a great time!

What the Doctor Ordered
This is our 2nd stay at this location, so we knew what to expect. The neighborhood is perfectly located far enough away from the main highway to ensure a tranquil time sitting on the porch swing with the morning cup of coffee as you watch the sun rise over the nearby hills. With 3 sides of the cabin having a covered porch, you can move around to catch as much (or as little) of the sun. The basement has a full sized pool table for settling bragging rights, the central living area is situated around a beautiful fireplace, ideal for ACTUAL CONVERSATIONS, and not digital ones :). Loads of bedrooms with individual heating controls. It is just perfect for those searching for a family oriented holiday escape to Star Valley. Well equipped grocery store located just 7 minutes away, and the star gazing cannot be beat. Just an all around perfect space for a medium to large family. Going to try a summer visit next time, as opposed to our New Year Winter Trip.

Great Home in Star Valley!
This was a great home in Star Valley, convenient to Afton on the south, and Thayne just to the north., where we had several extended family events. Landlords were so accommodating, and the home was ideally laid out for our 11 family members who stayed there.

Amazing Place
This is an amazing property. It is located a little "out of town" (10-15 minutes) but so worth it. A quiet neighborhood with plenty of room. Inside was all we could hope for, spacious, clean and inviting. Host was very responsive to any questions, and there were a few being a first time VRBO customer. would defiantly stay here again.

This was a fantastic home and stocked with everything we needed, 14 adults and children and we had plenty of room. Loved the porch and fire pit. The area was beautiful. We did head up north to the national parks as well. Thank you for a lovely stay. Might need to invest in new camping chairs. There were some there that were broken and we could not use.

Great Family Vacation
Our family of 13 had a great time at this fun cabin/home. Our 7 and 5 year old grandsons loved the loft. Both of our 2 year old granddaughters loved running on the deck which circles around the house. It provided plenty of room for each of our married children and their families. The kitchen was extremely well stocked allowing us to do some cooking there. The ice maker was broken but it was not a big deal to purchase ice at the grocery store just 10 minutes away. Plenty of towels including some beach towels available to use when we visited the beautiful Palisades Reservoir for paddle boarding 30 minutes north. It was also fairly convenient to visit Jackson Hole about 80 minutes away. Rich and Courtney were quick to respond to questions we had in preparation for our vacation and I'm certain they would have been quick to respond had we needed them at all during our stay. Highly recommend this location for families.

5 star accommodations at bargain prices!!
We had a wonderful time catching up with old friends at this amazing cabin. The cabin was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. There were 14 of us and it still felt like we had room to spare. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked with every pot, pan, and utensils you could possibly need. The wrap-around covered porch was perfect for relaxing and drinking coffee in the mornings & evenings. This cabin is truly a gem and at a great price. I would highly recommend it for anyone with a large family or several families looking for a relaxing time in Star valley. We enjoyed several of the many hiking opportunities around the valley. Lots to do here if hiking and exploring in the country is your thing.

Star valley snowmobile vacation
The cabin/home was really in an amazing spot in Star Valley. We have always stayed in condo's while in Afton, we decided to try something different. Courtney and Rich worked with us so well to make the vacation happen. The house is completely amazing very well maintained and very well stocked. For snowmobilers what an amazing place they have ample parking for several trailers. As long as this place is available to rent, I will continue to make reservations in the winter for snowmobiling in star valley at this property. I cannot thank Courtney and Rich enough for making this place available and for being such great hosts.

Great place for a February Snowmobile Stay!
The house was perfect for our family to base out of for snowmobiling the Salt River range and the Wyoming range. we've been making annual trips for twenty years and as the boys have started their own families, we've needed bigger accommodations than relatives homes, so this was by far the best house we've rented. Lots of beds, space and ease of parking a 5 place snowmobile trailer. Plenty of bathrooms for showers after hitting the hills. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen large and well stocked. Thanks for the great stay.

This was our second time renting this property in Auburn. It is in the perfect part of the valley...off in open country where it's quiet and peaceful. The cabin accommodates many people very well. It is well stocked and so comfortable. We loved it and plan to come again!

Further than I expected, but nice
It's location is ok, it's in a residential/farming area and I guess I thought from the online pictures that it was more secluded or private. But there's neighbors all around. It's a large lot, and my kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The description says an hour to the Tetons but realistically to get to anything inside the Park is over 2 hours away. I underestimated the size of the park,it not not doable but it definitely takes planning. Inside was clean and comfy. There's no AC and the loft was uncomfortable for the kids the first night when temperatures were warm. But the rest of the days were cooler and with the windows open, it stayed cool. Owners were responsive and helpful for anything we asked. It was good overall. Location is to be considered if you are interested in the national parks.

Family Trip
We needed a house so our family could enjoy time away from the daily hussle. This house turned out to be great! It was in a peaceful area, away from any tourism with beautiful scenery. It was close enough to get to Jackson within an hour and to the National parks. The house was super clean and easy to find and get to. There was plenty of space for us, even though we were there in the mornings and evenings. It had all the necessaties we needed, especially if you like to cook. My wife loved that the kitchen had everything she needed to cook. The kids loved the pool table and the board games available to them which kept them busy. Everyone love the loft and the style of the house. And the hosts left instructions and were in contact before and after. We will definitely stay there again!

Perfect place for family and friends
We go to Star Valley nearly every year because it is one of our family's favorite places. This year we stayed at this place in Auburn. It was SO fantastic! It had plenty of room for everyone--lots of beds and bathrooms. It was so comfortable and homey, and the setting in Auburn is to die for! We would like to stay here every time we travel to Star Valley with our family. The owners were so terrific at providing us with added information about things--for example tubing down the Salt River. They went the extra mile and even sent us a marked map so we could know where to get in and out. This was SO helpful and now it is an activity we won't miss when we come up here! I can't say enough good about the property and its owners. We would love to stay here again! Thank you!!

Spacious cabin in a beautiful location
The property was clean, comfortable, spacious and perfect for our large group. There house is in a quiet neighborhood that has great mountain views to the East and West. It's close to the Salt River for fishing, swimming or tubing. We also spent time in the mountains on some great hikes. We recommend the periodic spring hike. We had a blast here and I would recommend it.
