About this property

Oneroa Vines and Views walk to Oneroa Village

  • Summary:

Just a five-minute walk from Oneroa Village, Oneroa Vines and Views is a modern three-bedroom home overlooking Cable Bay’s vineyards and the water beyond. With open-plan living, central air conditioning and heating, two outdoor areas and a separate media and games room, it is a comfortable base for families, small groups and guests attending weddings at nearby Mudbrick.

    The Space:

Oneroa Vines and Views is a modern new-build home set above Cable Bay’s vineyards, only a five-minute walk from Oneroa Village. Large windows bring plenty of natural light into the home and frame views across the surrounding greenery towards the water.

The kitchen, dining area and lounge share an open-plan layout, creating a comfortable central space for cooking, eating and relaxing together. Sliding doors connect the living area with two separate outdoor spaces: a sheltered rear deck and a front balcony overlooking the vineyards, hills and water.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals during your stay and includes a Barista-style coffee machine. Guests will need to bring or purchase their own coffee beans.

The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a private ensuite, while the remaining bedrooms share the main bathroom.

Central air conditioning and heating keep the home comfortable throughout the year.

A separate media and games room provides an additional space for movie nights, children’s activities or groups wanting room to spread out.

Outside, the property has generous lawns, established planting and a tree house nestled among the greenery.

    Bed configuration

Bedroom 1 – Queen bed with ensuite

    Bedroom 2 – Queen bed

Bedroom 3 – Two king single beds

    Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire property, including both decks, the balcony, the media and games room, outdoor seating areas and the surrounding grounds.

On-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.

    The Neighborhood:

Oneroa Vines and Views is positioned in a peaceful vineyard setting while remaining only a five-minute walk from Oneroa Village.

Cable Bay Vineyard is right next door, making it easy to visit for dining or wine tasting. Mudbrick Vineyard is also nearby, making the home a convenient base for guests attending weddings and events there.

Oneroa Village offers cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, galleries and a local grocery store. Oneroa Beach, Cable Bay and Church Bay are also within easy reach.

The surrounding area has walking tracks through vineyards, hills and coastal landscapes.

    Getting Around:

The home is well positioned for easy access around the island. Oneroa Village, vineyards, beaches, and walking trails are all nearby, making short trips simple whether you’re on foot or driving. There is free, easy parking on site for multiple vehicles.

Buses run regularly through Oneroa, connecting to Onetangi, Palm Beach, the ferry terminal, and other key areas, making it possible to explore without a car. Taxis and rideshares operate on the island as well, though availability can tighten during peak periods, so pre-booking is recommended.

The property is around 5–7 minutes by car from Matiatia Ferry Terminal, making arrival and departure straightforward.

    Other Things to Note:

This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.

Beach towels are provided at properties with an available pool or spa. Guests staying at properties without a pool or spa will need to bring their own beach towels.

The property has a Barista style coffee machine - beans not provided.

This property has reverse cycle aircon and heating though the whole top floor of the property, this is where all the bedrooms and living is. The extra lounge and games room down in the garage does not have central air and heating.

Minimum stays: 7 nights from mid-December to the end of January, 3 nights on holiday weekends, and 2 nights at all other times.

The home operates on rainwater tanks, so mindful water use is essential, especially during the summer months.

Absolute Perfection!

My mother and I stayed here for several days while in town for my best friend's wedding. It was magnificent, the property looks exactly like the photos honestly even better. The outside spaces both the front patio and back are wonderful. The kitchen appliances are top notch, the beds are all comfortable. It was incredibly clean upon arrival, check in was easy, and the lovely Maya stopped by with a welcome gift of honey. We traveled VERY far from California and were so comfortable and happy during our stay here. We loved it. We'd book again in a heartbeat. I was the officiant for the wedding we attended at Mudbrick and it was literally right up the hill. WHAT A FIND! We could walk into town no problem, it was quiet, peaceful and the sunsets were amazing. Can't wait to come back!
