We were fortunate that there were not many people there when we arrived and the room were comfortable, clean, and easy to find. The porch on the front was lovely to sit and look at the waterfalls (i counted at least 10) visible in the Fjord.

We enjoyed staying in the Viking themed room and the breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety. But the scenery around the hotel was the best!! Absolutely gorgeous!! We were surrounded by tall mountainsides and numerous waterfalls.

Beautiful location on a quiet fjord. Nice big rooms. We could sit outside our room and watch all the waterfalls on both sides of the valley. Really wish the sauna would have been open later in the evening, we really wanted to do the sauna/fjord jump.

I loved this place. I would love to return during the summer and stay longer. It was breathtaking. The rooms have glass ceilings so you can see the waterfalls and mountains while lying in your bed. It’s been my favorite stay. The staff were amazing. I am so grateful to them. I misunderstood the shuttle schedule so I had no way back to town and I would have missed my cruise but they made sure I got there in time. The one recommendation I would have is if you book something that requires you to go back to Flam understand how and when the shuttles run. But I definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in the large house and it was very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and kitchen. The shower pressure and warmth was a welcome sight. Also, each bedroom has its own sink. That was very handy. We used the kitchen it had everything we needed. Of course, the surrounding fjord scenery was spectacular. Staff was friendly and the restaurant food was good.

Lovely Viking themed room complete with animal skin bed throw. Clean room albeit a few ants to help us enjoy the nature of the area. Stunning views with walks, kayaking etc. Breakfast was excellent.

It was the most magical stay! Super kind staff, cafeteria was really useful, we even use the sauna! The only thing I would make sure everyone knows is that there are no blinds in the Viking themed rooms, so bring a sleep mask!

This was a good place to stay. A bit old, but maintained okay. The area is so beautiful it is worth it. We were a bit unlucky staying in the classic rooms during a hot day; the room got really cold and we had to leave the window open, outside there were a lot of buses for the boat tours that depart from there. It cooled for the night.

This hotel was in the best location to explore Flam and the Naeroyfjord. We also went to see the Hopperstad Stave Church. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the restaurant for dinner was just okay. We only had one dinner there. The staff was incredible, however, and we enjoyed the bar and watching the World Cup soccer matches. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location! Arrived on a boat from Flam which was spectacular, next morning went to the Viking village which I would also strongly recommend. If we were to go again I probably wouldn’t get the breakfast at the hotel. The viking rooms are fun, glad I had a sleep mask
