"This hotel is under appreciated based on some of the reviews. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The mattress appeared to be brand new and was very comfortable. My only wish was for a coffee maker in the room. But coffee was offered in the lobby. I travel to Monett a few times each year and am happy to know there is a nice clean and inexpensive place to stay. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Upon arriving to the roadside motel, I was greeted by a small woman with a large attitude. She acted as if I were inconveniencing her. There were no amenities. The room looked clean and smelled clean. It was filled with an overwhelmingly smell of pine sol! Made me feel like they were trying to hide some other smell 😳. The air conditioner hardly worked and it was very humid that night. Needless to say, at the break of dawn, we left. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I should have paid the extra money for something further into town. Lesson learned"

"Watch out because using 3rd party sites will give you crappy rooms. This was the first time we used Expedia. I’m not impressed, they booked us in a handicap room and the room was damp and musty. They had moisture control boxes in the corners of the room. We made them change our room. The room we got the 2nd time was better. Do Better people!!!!"

"What a great experience! There are so many things to do! The house was wonderful, with plenty of space to move around and a large screened-in back porch for drinking coffee in the morning and sharing memories around the gas fire pit at night. The pool was amazing! The slide, hot tub, and a spacious cabana with tables and couches for eating or board games. Unfortunately, we weren't able to swim in the lake due to a film of pollen and natural debris (because of a lack of rain), but we enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboat, and fishing off the dock! Nighttime was probably the favorite: one night around the large outdoor fire pit, looking at stars; a pickleball tournament followed by a disco dance party in the activity center; and swimming under the glow of the pool lights while listening to tree frogs. The host, Sara, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend this place. You'll want to allow enough time to enjoy all of the offerings!"

"Property was comfortable once the AC was turned on. The stinky plug in things were objectionable to us as we are fragrance sensitive. We could do without those. All in all we had a pleasant stay. There were no instructions or booklet from the host, so we were left wondering what to do with the linens, etc. Also, no cell service, which would have been nice to know in advance. No instructions on connecting to the internet, so we old geazers had to get down on the floor to read the information on the router. The host was there when we arrived and seemed to be a very pleasant young man who later checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. The only real hole was the lack of an information packet."
