"The house was immaculate. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would need if you choose to eat at home. The beds were comfortable and there was ample storage space in closets and dressers. Charging stations were at bedside. The master bedroom had a large dog crate and the backyard was fenced. We did not use anything from the entertainment closet but there were ample supplies in case of rainy days. We also did not make use of the bicycles or beach furniture but- again- the items available were plentiful. The house itself is well-shaded, on a quiet street and located a very short distance from a bay-side boat launch. We noted that the launch is a gathering place for sunset watchers. The Avalon fishing pier was literally at the other end of the street.The host responded promptly to our inquiries.We could unreservedly recommend this rental."

"We had a wonderful time at Into the Mystic this September! It was clean and well furnished with up-to-date design and amenities throughout. It was the perfect spot for our family, my sister in law and in-laws. Centrally located, a short walk to the beach and the excellent amenities, like hot tub, outdoor shower, three decks to watch the sunrise on, quality outdoor furniture and beach gear. We had a hard time saying goodbye to this house. We would definitely return to this house again!"

"We had such a great time at Good Vibrations! We have three kids 13, 8 and 5 and it was great for them with toys and bunk beds. I was worried with the dunes we couldn’t see the water but sitting eating dinner we had a great view of the waves. The beach was a few steps away, it really doesn’t get any better. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/dishes even tons of wine glasses. If you are not used to very firm beds, bring a memory foam topper! The water was very clear for our visit and the beach was not packed at all. The convenience of having sheets, towels and blankets saved us a lot of packing. There was also cleaning spray, dishwasher detergent, beach toys and chairs and an ice machine in the freezer. We hope to be back next summer!"

"Shea was an awesome host and the property was the perfect place for us. The house is so much bigger inside than it looks from the street. It allowed us to spend some time quality time with family before our wedding day. We will be returning to this house soon and recommend it to everyone looking to stay in the KDH area of this island."

"The property was exactly as described. The photos were accurate. Check-in was seamless. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was located central to almost everything (Beaches, food and stores). We took suggestions from the Welcome binder and explored the area. The provided beach chairs got a lot of work as we went to multiple beaches during our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we had in the Outer Banks. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great property and a great vacation!"
