This condo was absolutely perfect! The views are amazing. The condo is very large, comfortable, decorated nicely. One of my favorite parts of this condo, were all the plants out on the patios. We will definitely stay her again.

Stunning Glorious views
The Condo was very comfortable. The best part was the wrap around porch, with lovely plants. Loved the beds. A lot of room for two. Cable, kitchen and dinning room were great. The greater room is spacious with lots of windows. Avalon is charming as well and the conservatory too well worth it.... ask for Carlos. We were told no cell connection if not Verizon. I got very clear connection with TMobile on clear days, but not on cloudy days. A couple of pointers, landlord should address the dirty couches, steam clean or replace. Very stained. Pictures online are old. Needs a paint job. Your insurance may not cover the golf cart. I would have though they did, but most companies require a separate policy and the state of CA does require it as well. It is low risk, but we chose not to take it.

We had the most amazing stay and was a perfect 30yr Anniversary celebration. The location of this condo has breathtaking views, well furnished and very accommodating management. We will be making this an annual stay!

Beautiful view from every room at our condo. Town was close and easy to get to in the golf cart. Maintenance required at the condo. Numerous issues such as: no knobs for master bath, unable to use tub. Would still like to stay at Hamilton Cove for the view and location.

Best property in Hamilton Cove
We've stayed at a lot of units there and by far this was the best one, with a wrap around views of the water. The new electric golf cart was also a great perk. We enjoyed celebrating Father's Day weekend here. The property manager was very communicative and easy to work with. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Catalina.

Everything about our weekend couldn't be more perfect! The condo location was gorgeous and just far enough away from town to have a quiet and relaxing experience. The golf cart was a nice perk and allowed us the convenience of getting anywhere we needed to go. Highly recommend this beautiful resort-like villa.

Gorgeous getaway
This place is gorgeous and we loved every minute of waking up to see the sunrise over the ocean and seeing deer and fox right from our balcony. Loved the attention to detail here — brand new sponges, very clear instructions about how to use and find everything, and the good cart was the perfect way to get around Avalon. Felt like we were a million miles from LA. Would recommend to anyone. Especially loved grilling and eating under the stars above the ocean. Felt like the best table at the best restaurant on the island.

The views were absolutely breathtaking. The complex was well maintained, quiet and peaceful. Villa was clean and comfortable - fantastic place to relax before and after days of exploring Avalon and the inner island. Wonderful stay.

Great Place, some attention needed to details
We always stay at VRBO's because we have found that they are generally well maintained and comfortable. Certainly this unit was comfortable and had magnificent views. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance type issues that came up. These were: 1. Hot water handle in the bath tub broke and the water would not stop. Had to call the owner and get a plumber out to cap off the bath tub. 2. Discovered in the process of #1 that the Hot Water Tank was leaking (fortunately into a pan underneath it) and clearly the hot water tank needs to be replaced ASAP. 3. Ran the dishwasher and the drying cycle never seem to come on. Finally stopped the dishawsher and dried the dishes by hand. 4. The Freeze on the bottom of the refrigerator does not roll out smoothly. The glides are loose or something and it needs to be adjutsted. 5. The golf cart that comes with the unit needs to have the steering unit adjusted. Steering the unit is somewhat delayed when you go to turn, there is a lag from turning the wheel until the tires react. But all in all, it is a BEAUTIFUL location and a great place to stay in Catalina. Hopefully the issues outlined above will be corrected and then this rental will be perfect.

Awesome location. Stunning sunrises
This place has it all. Comfortable interior with nice kitchen/dining/living room area. The Master is secluded and private and the second bedroom has its own bathroom. All rooms are nicely appointed but it is the decks that sets list place off. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope one day to come back to Catalina and stay here again. Do not hesitate to book this place.

❤️Only place to stay in Hamilton Cove
We cannot express how fortunate we were to grab this place for A last minute vacation before school began. Not only was the host so accommodating but the condo was absolutely breathtaking, the views the ambience and the amenities. There is no better place to stay. The use of the golf cart was a real treat to run to the local store amd surrounding restaurants. The host was kind and responsive to any need or concerns. We had the time of our lives. There wasn’t really any need to leave the condo . We enjoyed the sunsets more than once. We will be back for sure. 😉

This unit was incredible!! The views were insane and it so peaceful and well equipped.
The place is perfect! Private wrap around balcony that has lovely plants and solar lights for evening lounging. The host is very responsive. It was so great to go into town to eat and explore then “go home” to the Cove. Nice pool and exercise room. We had a fabulous time and felt like we were worlds away from LA County!!

Paradise in 15 minutes
COVID 19 and other life circumstances changed our Sweet 16 trip to Hawaii for my niece and we decided on Catalina Island. Baby let me tell you....this was 10x better. Location, location, location and golf cart. This property is gorgeous, comfortable and just as pictured. We so enjoyed the views from every room, ocean sound and breeze.....talk about ocean front....this property does not disappoint AT ALL. The owner was extremely responsive and gracious...helping with the finite details including booking our helicopter ride with a 10% discount. The cherry on top is the all electric golf cart.......we cruised the town in style. Love, love, loved it. The private beach, pool, and jacuzzi were equally enjoyable. We will be back....real soon.

Hamilton Cove is your own slice of heaven on Avalon. It was so relaxing to be able to get out of the hustle of Avalon and escape to the peace and quiet of Hamilton Cove yet still have beach access, a pool, tennis courts and putt putt. My husband, friends and I had an incredible time there!

Best Hamilton Cove Rental So Far
We've been to Hamilton Cove several times, and it's always been nice, but this one has got to be the best. The views are great, with very nice wrap around private balcony. The condo is well equipped. It was just my daughter and I, and we had more room than we really needed. The electric golf cart was much nicer than the normal gas carts we've had before. The owner was very responsive and attentive. Looking forward to coming back here again!

Memorable Catalina vacation
Unit has outstanding ocean views from inside and from 2-sided wraparound balcony. Inside is clean and spacious for family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Route up the many stairs to unit may be difficult for frail adults…anyone who can walk around downtown Avalon won’t have any trouble with the stairs…a 50-lb suitcase is manageable. Golf cart was fun to ride and perfect for getting around the island. We never came close to running out of battery, even when we did the scenic drive near the ferry dock and the other ride that goes by the gate to the airport. Highly recommend this unit! Property manager was very attentive and easy to work with.

Fantastic view
Unit 18-65 at Hamilton Cove is beautifully decorated and has a wrap-around balcony that affords a spectacular 180 + degree view of the Catalina coast and across to the mainland. All amenities are provided, not least of which is a nice newer golf cart for exploring and for the commute to town for food, shopping and activities. This is the place for a relaxing visit with great views.

The views and the condo are beyond beautiful and comfortable. Luxurious is an understatement! The beds are so comfortable, as are the rest of the furnishings. The outdoor spaces are also beautifully appointed with plenty of seating and plants. Please note that the view comes at a cost of 100 stairs. But that view is beyond outrageous. You can hear the waves from most of the windows. The golf cart is super cute, too. It’s electric, which means avoiding the single gas station on the island. The appliances are great, but the outdoor grill leaves a little to be desired - it has a “U” shaped gas element which is not conducive to great cooking. The knives aren’t sharp, so I suggest bringing your own if that is something you need. I cannot recommend this condo enough, and I’m just disappointed that we couldn’t book for next year — yes, it is that incredible!!!!!

Spectacular Stay
Fabulous unit with amazing views! Exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were in Italy or Greece, but we were only a short ferry ride from LA. Avalon is a precious spot with delicious food, cocktails and cute shops. Plenty to do or perfect if you want to just gaze out at the gorgeous views from the huge balconies. This unit had everything we needed and more. Very welcoming and receptive hosts as well. Already planning our return visit.
