Charming “village” of renovated cabins with a single bar and restaurant. It was very atmospheric and a lovely stop enroute from Alesund to Trondheim. Not much to do there so arriving around 5:00 or 6:00pm is perfect for your overnight stay.

What an amazing place. We stayed in one of the traditional fisherman's huts which was an incredible experience. The staff were so helpful - offered us kayaks to explore around the small island. Great food. A real experience.

We loved taking a boat over to the island. The cabin was nice and comfortable. Dinner was good - they allowed for some to not do the full 3 courses. Breakfast was fabulous! Was fun to walk around the island, but not much to do in evening. We stayed one night and was just right for us.

This an island hotel that used to be a fishing village. You park on their shore parking lot and a hotel power boat transfer you you to the island which is a mile off shore. Restautant on the island. Hytte (cabins) are rusticoutside and modern inside. A unique experience!

Bel hôtel atypique et bien équipé

Un hôtel très original sur une petite île privative. Dépaysant et particulièrement calme avec une chambre dotée d'un petit balcon sur l'océan. A la fois atypique mais avec toutes les commodités. Restauration un peu onéreuse mais de bonne qualité. Vaut le déplacement.

Flott på Håholmen!

Vi hadde et supert opphold. Men kveldens middag var ikke bra. Knallhardt kalvekjøtt som omtrent var umulig å skjære igjennom. Vi sa ifra og fikk ny middag, deilig fiskemiddag! God service!

Fantastisk!

Håholmen er et helt enestående vakkert! Godt med parkering på landsida, enkel tilgang til brygga, god hjelp med bagasjen av og på båten. Byggene på øya (vel, holmen) er velholdte og velstelte, det er lett å se at her er det folk som bryr seg som driver. Små skilt forteller om historien til de ulike husene. Rommet vi bodde på (Brenneriet 1) hadde uteplass over havet, og ei lita sittegruppe ute. Veldig koselig. Soverom i overetasjen, gode senger og romslig dusj. _Samtlige_ ansatte vi møtte var enestående trivelige og hjelpsomme. Maten var kjempegod; nydelig presentert på fatene (og _enorme_ porsjoner), med gode vinvalg. Frokostbuffeten var innbydende og variert, med observante ansatte som konstant (men diskret) fulgte med og fylte opp. Om det ikke var fullt belegg da vi var der, så var det ikke langt unna. Likevel ble det aldri hektisk eller for folksomt. Utsjekk og returtransport gikk som en lek. Om det er noe å utsette på rommet, må det være at det ene soverommet ikke hadde blendingsgardin (på takvinduet), og at det ikke var kjøleskap på rommet. Kjøleskap savnet vi kun fordi vi hadde med et barn, og det ville vært kjekt å kunne oppbevare back-up maten kaldt. Vi spurte ikke, men ut i fra hvordan de ansatte var på tilbudssidsa med alt mulig, ville de trolig ha funnet en løsning på dette med maten. Et fantastisk sted som vi gleder oss til å besøke igjen!
