Best known for its excellent snow sports offerings, Cairngorm Mountain (10 miles) provides skiing and snowboarding in abundance, but you can also explore the mountain on foot or by mountain bike. Head to Glenmore (7 miles) to dive into activities in Glenmore Forest Park, admire the pine, heather, and blueberries along the walking trails at Allt Mor (7.5 miles), or enjoy the peaceful scenery at Loch Morlich Beach (6.5 miles). Keen sailors will love venturing out onto the water from the Loch Morlich Sailing Club (5.5 miles). This original railway cottage has been lovingly maintained with traditional features, yet modernised to offer everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The family bathroom, featuring a roll-top bath and separate shower, is also on this floor. Upstairs, two further bedrooms, an inviting king-size and a charming double, sit beneath slopped ceilings – a nod to the property’s age and heritage.
Outside, a private patio space invites you to sit in the sunshine and breathe in that invigorating Highlands air. The patio is enclosed, with an outdoor seating area and a charcoal BBQ, perfect for enjoying alfresco evenings on warm, summery nights.
