P&V hotels in Avoriaz, Morzine

"We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday. We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children. Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run. We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded. The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it. The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment. We had a 2 bed one and it was plenty big enough for a family of 6, including 2 under 5's. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall, we would stay again if we returned to Avoriaz again. "

"Lovely appartment at the bottom of the resort. Has wondeful views and a small balcony. It had everything we needed and more! Appartment has a small hallway for boot storage and we kept our skis on the balcony. We kept the key ij the key safe box every day and it took our worry away from losing this. It has perfect ski in and out to the slope all day. Our only struggle was the hill upto the center of the resort but we didnt mind the walk, 5 minutes to the village center. Can ring for transport at any time. We had full itinery sent out before our arrival and let the host know when we'd be leaving. Was a really lovely place would come back in a heartbeat!! Thank yoy"

"The property was of a high standard and well equipped. The views were outstanding with a spacious balcony. The en suite showers were very luxurious . The building had beautiful facilities including gym, pool, sauna and steam room. The boot room was easy to access and was wonderful to have heated lockers for ski/ snowboard boots. The check in process was a little confusing as we didn’t realise we had to go to another building to check in and it was poorly sign posted. We had to ask for extra apartment keys and there was only 2 sets of keys for the boot room which was awkward with a large group. The apartment was perfectly positioned for ski in and ski out but there was quite a steep incline to walk up and down to access the rest of the town. We were very disappointed to find the diagrams and descriptions of the bedrooms were incorrect. We were expecting two of the rooms to have a queen bed and 2 singles in them. This would have accommodated our group, with no one having to sleep in the communal area. Unfortunately the reality was that two bedrooms only had single beds in them. So we had to use the sofa bed. The owner was not very helpful in responding to our complaint. The apartment reception understood what we were saying as we went to check we were in correct apartment.! Thankfully VRBO listened to our concerns and after several days of communications we were offered a credit note to use against future bookings. "

"Overall great week, couple of minor things in the apartment, toaster and spa bath weren't working. We were also unlucky with neighbors in the next apartment, they were extremely noisy with no regard for anybody else. Nevertheless the plus points were the apartment was cosy and clean right in the centre of the resort with easy access to the slopes. You can also ski/board all the way back the apartment, this would have been helpful to know, we just discovered it on the last day. Weather was great all week which always helps. Another great week in Avoriaz."
