Very welcoming hotel with great pool area. Due to the early season, there was plenty of parking available just outside the hotel. A short stroll from the hotel out to the amazing beach. The room was very clean and in good shape.

Nice large hotel but mostly for families, lots of kids in the pool, great sea view from the room. Free parking should have been included but was only for ’all inclusives’!!?? We had to park on a street 300 meters from the hotel ☹️, nice breakfast.

Good family hotel

12 nights family holiday. We’ve stayed before at this hotel and we were delighted with our room - ask for a rear view of the nature reserve! Food is always excellent at the Iberostar. We stayed half board so can’t comment on drinks but they looked good. I would say the lighting in the canteen style restaurant needs working on as the ambience was OK for evening dinner. The hotel is now 90% Spanish/Portuguese guests which appeals to us but, English is very limited do you have to try your Espanol! Entertainment was busy and they worked hard. I would say that the hotel is in need of some modernisation now but, it is still a decent choice for a beach holiday. The playa was great, Neptune’s still going strong in the marina and the restaurants in Punta del Moral are still outstanding quality and value. Ayamonte still a nightmare to park and a little rundown - watch out for the beggar parking attendants. We visited Sanlucar de Guidiana and absolutely loved it - zipwire and all! Muy Bien!

Second time in this property and it was again great! Good food, friendly staff, excellent service and all very clean. I did feel that this time the entertainment was a bit slow for our age range, there was a big group of elderly people in the property and not many activities going on like we had the year before.

Fabulous hotel. We have travelled all over the world and have yet to see a restaurant with the selection of wonderful food provided. Cleanliness was impressive as was the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough. The area is very quiet and there is a walkway to an unspoiled massive beach. If you just want to chill out and not be among masses of tourists this is the place! Thoroughly recommend.

Very good breakfast, great variety of products. Nice design of the room. However, the door is not soundproof, woke up at 8am because of cleaning the neighbouring room. Also, permanent stains on the toilet seat is not very appropriate for 4-star hotel.

quiet, friendly hotel

Lovely hotel, good rooms, we had sea view balcony - a must have, stunning view of pool side and sea. We went for all inclusive , all hotel staff couldn't to enough to make your stay enjoyable. Pool a little fresh but it is end of May, there is a lovely indoor pool Spa was good, sports massage excellent. Bar staff worked hard and took delight in bringing drinks to us from our sun loungers - how decadent did we feel. Animation team very bubbly and fun all wig lots of personality and novel poolside ideas . I took a beautiful hour walk every day along the beach, prom and Marina Not a lot to do at night but animation put on a good show A place to come and relax and get some sunshine

Waste of money (and time)

A four star hotel? Yes absolutely, if on a scale to ten. They are unorganized at check-in and it went downhill from there. The room itself was ok for a 2-3 star hotel, until we opened the bathroom, a reaking smell of urine. This wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. Despite the room being on the top floor (4th), the cooking odor from the kitchen reached our room and floor. They made us pay a deposit for towels. Honestly, I don't know if I should cry or laugh. The towels could only be changed for fresh ones during limited hours. Not enough sunbeds around the pool area. Breakfast reminded more of a shelter handing out food than the morning serving of a 4-star hotel. No proper restaurant in the hotel and we had to leave with car to eat both lunch and dinner. With small children, anything but practical. Overall, we could leave fast enough. The hotel is a joke.

Hotel estupendo y servicio cuidado. Quizás podria el desayuno ser más variado pero calidad precio nos mereció la pena.

Buffet cortito

El buffet en el almuerzo y la cena bastante flojito con muy poca variedad. El desayuno, sin embargo, está muy bien con todo tipo de comida y dulces.

Superbe hôtel, personnel agréable. Mais la propreté laisse à désirer surtout sur la partie extérieure au niveau des piscines. Le petit déjeuner est également moyen.

Magnífico hotel junto a la playa.

Muy buen hotel y bien situado. Recomendable. Buena piscina. Los churros como piedras, literal.
