"Do NOT ever book this hotel. I booked and paid for my room in FULL 1 month ago. There was a large car event in Lake Como.. Well…….. 3 nights before my arrival. They emailed to say they Could Not Honor my stay!!!! I had already paid in full. Do NOT ever book this hotel. "

But we only had the one day and the apartment was perfect for us. It may be a challenge if you don't have a car to get here. It was perfectly close for our visit to La Villa Balbianello. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is the only reason for not giving it 5 Stars."

It took a few days of going back and forth with them and Expedia (during our limited spare time during our vacation) to arrange for a refund.
