"I was pretty happy with Yellow Diamond. Parking was ample and easy to get in and out. The room was very clean. It is an older motel, so i did not expect ‘spa-like’ amenities, but it was comfortable, easier on the budget, and most of all, clean. I had some issues with the noise of the window AC turning on and off every few minutes at night (again, it’s an older motel). I did not keep the AC on real cold - in fact, I tried to keep it around 76. But the AC kept turning on and off, and i had to turn it down even colder to keep it from cycling on and off). It was rather noisy, but it IS next to one’s bed, afterall. I could have used an extra blanket in the room as sleeping under a sheet and a very thin quilt was a bit ‘no’ for me. I like to ‘snuggle’ under some thickness. The pillows were clean and had no odor, but, they could use a bit more ‘fluff’ than they had. The mattress was okay - it ‘mounds’ in the middle, but it was soft enough. There was, what I believe, a ‘caretaker’s’ tiny home several steps separate from the hotel itself and across from the rooms. At 6AM with their music blasting, it sounded like the air conditioner was sending me wake-up call to country music. It was very loud for so early in the AM. Yikes. Good thing i like country music? The front desk person (young man) was the best: friendly, informative, smiling. He seemed to like his job. He was a nice welcome to Murphreesboro after a long drive. All in all, a solid 4-4.5 star motel. I’d stay here again."

"Property was great with many things to do such as fish, walks, pool table, campfire, games…etc. My 6 year old loved playing in the river. Property had everything you need as far as basic essentials and serving items like plates, cups…etc. for a large group of people. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. Overall property was very clean. Communication with host was top notch. Was a great rental choice for my family!"

"I made a last minute booking as I was driving through and sometimes that means you get the room no one else wanted and some extra hassle. I was pleasantly surprised to get a very comfortable, clean room and easy check in with friendly staff. I was only there for a short rest but the bed was really comfortable and breakfast was better than most. Only downside was the beverage machine was not working and I am not a coffee drinker, but things break and I would gladly stay there again."

"When walking into the hallway for the rooms we were hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke which was overpowering. My daughter is allergic to cigarette smoke and that’s why we requested a nonsmoking room. The smell was somewhat in the room also just not as overpowering. I was glad to have a place that was pet friendly and that part was great as I had my 13 week old puppy with me."

"Our stay was a short overnight stop on a longer trip. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean however somewhat dated. Low toilet and sink top, Carpet in a room that allows pets seemed unusual. Breakfast was very nice. The lady working was very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again."
