The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. "Frisch renoviertes Hotel nach der Flut. An einigen Stellen sind noch Kabel zu Essen, was aber nicht stört. Tolle Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Gute Barkarte für den Abend mit normalen Preisen. Kaffee umd Wasser kann mam sich umsonst holen. Frühstück war standardmäßig (Brötchen, Eier, Speck, etwas Wurst/Käse/Salami, Obst, Joghurt). "Only down side was the lift begins on the first floor. Limited mobility would struggle. Staff friendly and professional. The rooms although small were very clean with sufficient facilities available such as hairdryer and shampoos etc. The wine festival is fabulous and draws quite a crowd. Cochem is a gem and a must visit when in Germany. Coffe shops, cafes and live music. Great time had by all."
