Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!"

"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Très déçus de notre séjour, en raison du manque de souplesse, d'écoute et surtout de sens de l'accueil. Avant notre arrivée, nous avions contacté l'établissement afin de savoir s'il était possible d'accéder à la chambre un peu plus tôt. La chambre n'étant disponible qu'à 17 h, nous espérions qu'une solution pourrait être envisagée, d'autant plus que l'établissement n'était pas complet. Malheureusement, aucune alternative n'a été proposée, pas même la mise à disposition temporaire d'une pièce...

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. Note, we had an electric car and the owner was very accommodating and help us to charge the car every day."
