The Hotel La Prison is a very quirky place to stay. Cells have been converted to rooms. Our room was on the 4th floor with amazing view but not part of cell block. Room was spacious with good bathroom- no fridge in the room and pool was very green and didn’t look too inviting to swim in. Staff were pleasant and helpful Drinks on the balcony lovely A great stay

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from staff pursuing the highest standards of customer care and engagement. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location.
The compact gym: with (soft toy) rabbit model.

Lovely location with views out over the river Orb. Right next to Cathedral. Close to several very pleasant restaurants. This place is truly a great "experience"! So fascinating to see the prison from the inside with all of the historic preservation blended with comfort and style. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would think about returning!
