I highly recommend this hotel! It is beautiful! The staff including Kenia, Rigoberto, Domingo and everyone else were wonderful! Great food, pool and rooms! Private access to the lagoon! Very close to many things and taxis are easy to come by to get around! I look forward to coming back here one day! David

We had an amazing experience and the property manager is hands down the best. The location is off the beaten path, but we loved it! The private lagoon is a short walk down the hill and so amazing. Such a peaceful and beautiful area, definitely a must go if you’re wanting some time away from the city.

The hotel is very new, but there were too many flies during meals, which was quite bothersome. Because of the many plants, there were also many insects; there were small worms in the room every day. I suggest pest control around the room. The hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough and ran out quickly, and there were too few hooks for hanging towels. However, the staff were friendly, and there were toys provided by the pool, which was great!

Outstanding stay. My wife and I stayed in the large 2 bedroom apartment with the King beds and very nice living room and kitchenette. The entire boutique property is beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and we swam in the pool every night. The pool has very nice jets to soothe your muscles and the water temperature was perfect. Chef Domingo and assistant chef Miguel served us outstanding breakfasts and brunch. We always ordered the extras during our meals instead of just the standard breakfast. The Mexican dishes were superb and I loved the fresh organic beetroot mix jam. Samuel was very attentive and helpful and Kenia was very pleasant and arranged a pleasant pontoon boat ride on Lake Bacalar. The lake and Los Rapidos are only a quick 25 minute drive along with multiple cenotes nearby. The property is fenced off for security. We had a very peaceful stay. It's a short 2km drive off the main highway via an unpaved road, which is part of the experience in the Maya forest. Bring mosquito spray as all of the Yucatan forest has ubiquitous mosquitoes. Spray that on twice a day and you will be very well prepared for this amazing jungle and Lake experience.
