"First time staying in a hotel on Tybee Island. We usually select accommodations near the Riverfront in historic downtown Savannah and drive over daily to the beach. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! The Admiral’s Inn was very clean, less than a block from the entrance to the beach, and has a heated outdoor pool. The front desk ladies were so sweet and helpful. We were always greeted kindly by staff. The room has a modern shower, safe, and satellite tv. Parking is free! There is complimentary coffee and water in the lobby, along with an ice machine and a snack machine. I’m extremely picky about clean beds and a clean bathroom. This hotel gave me both at a good, off-season discounted price. The hotel was quiet and we felt safe, and with only 2 floors, we didn’t have to wait for an elevator. The walk up to the second floor was super easy even carrying a duffle bag and an ice cooler. I recommend this small hotel if you are looking to stay on Tybee Island at a reasonable price in a good, clean room with free parking. We will definitely return. :)"

"The room was spotlessly clean and super cute. The property really is just steps to the beach, perfectly located near lots of shops and bars, but down a quieter side street. There were lots of helpful extras, like sea turtle safe red flashlights for night walks on the beach, a couple of beach chairs, and the parking pass, which saved us a bundle. The only thing that was somewhat less than ideal was the strong air freshener scent, which I’m quite sensitive to. I travel with an air filter for just this reason, so it turned out fine, but if you’re scent sensitive just be aware. I would definitely stay again though!"
