Booked superior double room from Expedia. We were put into a room in the basement area (rooms were listed as in the 700s, and used paper signs and marker ink to lead the way). The problem was the room was exceedingly hot and felt damp, in April. We slept terribly on soft bed and with only a standing fan in the night but was not enough. It was colder outside but we couldn't open windows due to mosquitoes. Felt like an overflow room and strange given this felt very off peak season from the crowd. Staff were all very friendly but restaurant wait staff were a little too forgetful, or maybe they didn't have the usual managers working due to Easter period? But needing to remind them about drinks and food made our meal with young kids a little more difficult and they were getting understandably restless. The hotel overall looks great, looked clean and had we a different room we'd have likely enjoyed our stay much more.

This is a beautiful hotel with incredible amenities such as pool and saunas. The rooms were very well appointed and quiet. We wished we had booked a longer stay here.

Nice staffs, good breakfast buffets and dinner at the restaurants. indoor pool and saunas are a couple of amenities that were great to utilize during the cold December weather.

Nice Hotel
Would recommend, close to Munich. Good price, perfect breakfast, lots of parking spaces. Clean room with a balcony and big TV.

We had a 4 person room. But the second bed was just a pull out couch. 1 queen bed and 1 pull out couch for our 4 person room. Restaurant was the worse service I ever had. First I was told no chance for a table as 200 people were coming in at 7pm. 200 people never showed up when we came back at 9pm for a table we were told to sit down and no one brought us a menu or asked us for a drink we were completely ignored. The locals were served right away. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes of waiting.

Lovely hotel, lovely location
I was there for work so didn't get time to explore the area but the scenery was beautiful. The hotel was in a good location with a good restaurant and at a good price. Friendly staff who's English is much better than than my German. The hotel is in an easy to find location with good parking. My only criticism is that the bathroom is small and the shower head could not be placed in a fixed position - the more you turned the taps on the more the shower tried to cover the walls, ceiling etc.

Rating 5 if communication by phone was good...
Basically, they have good facility like clean sauna and pool, breakfast and front desk at good price. I would recommend. However, I had a sad experience. I called on 11th Friday around noon and talked to a lady. She confirmed double bed and asked to send me confirmation email but she refused the sending email and hanged up the phone in the middle of a speech. In addition, double bed was not prepared... I was worried about service at hotel before arriving. Actually, there was no problem.

The hotel is a little bit outdated, but still clean. The receptionist didn't gave us the password for free wifi. We had dinner at the restaurant and there was a table with different kinds of liquor. We thought we can try them for free and decide if we want to buy. So, for 5 small sips they charge us like for 5 real glasses. When we asked to buy, 50 euros for small bottle. Ridiculous!!! I don't recommend this hotel and will not go there again!!

Traditional German Spa Hotel
Gorgeous, traditional , German Spa hotel on the outskirts of a dispersed Spa town a good half hour south east of Munich. A smashing heated indoor pool, sauna, and massage facilities. Staff members were helpful and were dressed in traditional outfits.Restaurant seemed popular with the residents on half board, the breakfast was very good. We walked 10 minutes to the nearest "Gasthouse" for our evening meal. It is best to have your own transport in this location. I would definitely like to return to this hotel.

SOMMERFERIE
Vores ophold var så men rigtig godt, man var bare blevet sat sat andet i udsigter. Ved ikke om det er Hotel S.Hof eller om det var Hotels.com som har lagt ikke korrekt billede op. Alt indvendig var super fint og servering og mad super Ophold helt fint men tror ikke fam. er det korrekt klientel Dog var det billede der var afbilledet da vi skulle bestille fam værelse men man fik alm hotel værelse længst væk, som jeg ikke mener er ok. Men fint ophold man skal bare skrive og fortælle hvad man får, fordi til denne pris havde vi også kunne finde noget andet og større hvis man havde vist det var et alm værelse med opredning.
