We had a studio/loft. Large room, free minibar. Large bathroom. No-step shower, which could fit two. Corner room with 2 windows. Convertible couch. Good AC/heating. Slatted windows. Huge REWE supermarket around corner that has everything. 2 minute walk to UBahn station. Excellent German bar/restaurant across street, reasonably priced, neighborhood patrons.

Hotel Brack was such a great find! Frau Iryna and the three gentlemen at the desk (wish I got their names!) were super warm and friendly right from the start. While it has modern amenities, it still holds onto its charm—loved the retro feel and the old-school keys. The room was really comfortable and convenient, plus having the U-Bahn literally right at the doorstep with shops nearby made getting around so easy. Best of all, it's just a short 5 to 10-minute walk to the Wiesn, which was perfect for Oktoberfest! There’s no A/C, but visiting in September meant we didn't even need it. It can get a bit noisy, but after a long, fun day at the festival, we slept like logs anyway, so no complaints there. Prices were definitely sky-high, but that’s Oktoberfest for you. All in all, this cute little hotel totally made up for the cost with its hospitality—just adorable.

Front desk staff were not very friendly when I asked to check in early (keep in mind I was emailed asking if I wanted to pay a fee to check in at 10am, and arrived to the property about 11am).
The room was nice but signs of wear and tear; including stains on the carpet, curtains, and bed. I have stayed at nicer 4 star hotels. Would probably find another hotel if I returned to Frankfurt.
