Bad Ischl Hotel Guide - Family Friendly Hotels in Bad Ischl, Upper Austria

"Looked at some other places before I ended up booking this one but glad I did spacious room and the included private kitchenette was a plus. Did not need that but it was cool it was there. Bed was fairly comfortable And the drive down from the hotel into the city was amazing also plus plenty of parking. The towel warmer got the towels. Extremely warm, almost too much and also heated up the room. I just left the bathroom door closed and it kept it nice and toasty in there. I couldn't quite find a way how to lower down but I'm pretty sure if I contacted them and they reached out to me through WhatsApp a couple times during the stay to check in and make sure everything was okay. I would highly recommend it and would go back. Hopefully I wouldn't need to and I can get a place there but if not or in the time being I would look at coming back. I see that they're doing renovation. I'm excited to see what more they have to offer"

"Absolutely wonderful Christmas stay ✨ Cannot fault this hotel at all. We had such a lovely stay over Christmas. I was reluctant to book at first as the hotel is not in the centre of Salzburg and a lot of the reviews are from a long time ago, but it was the best decision! The hotel is in the middle of wonderful countryside, it’s so nice to be able to explore the city and then stay in this lovely little picturesque town. It’s so easy to get to, just hop on bus 150 to/from Salzburg and it takes about 20 mins. The buses are super regular (even on Xmas day!), cheap and really comfortable. The hotel is in superb condition, recently renovated by the looks of it and the decor is perfect. Our room was well furnished, super clean and we had a large balcony with a view of the mountains/lake. Breakfast is included and was top quality. We also went to the hotel bar on Christmas Eve which was lovely and the drinks were spot on. We didn’t use the pool/spa as unfortunately didn’t have time but had a nosey and it looked wonderful. All staff members were super friendly and if you get time to explore the surroundings you won’t forget it, they’re stunning. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel and encourage everyone to visit! I loved Salzburg but I’d come back just to stay here."
