The hotel was fine and in an area that was fully walkable. The only downside was that there was no a/c in my room and it was very hot. Also no washcloths.

The Hotel Monopol is a lovely hotel, close to Frankfurt Hbf. The area around the hotel was a little rundown with some homelessness but not unsafe. The hotel was incredibly hot. I understand the efficiency of not requiring a/c but being there when it is hot, humid and 40+ degrees, the room was miserably hot.

Loved the room and beautiful balcony! Breakfast was delicious! Close to downtown for restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Would stay there again!

"Klein aber fein mit sehr großer Terasse und Blick ins Grüne. Insgesamt war die unterkunft auch im Detail durchdacht und bot alles was man für ein paar Tage benötigt. Neben allen Küchenutensilien sogar ein paar Basislebensmittel. Daneben war alles super dokumentiert, so dass man sich sehr rasch einfinden ..."
