"It was a comfortable stash, however for being a new hotel, they could’ve had outlets next to the bed (on night stand) with USBC and USB connectors. Small fridge light is too bright at night time. WiFi info should be in the room or handed over after signing in. Calling the front desk, I was told to dial 100, after I asked. I called by dialing zero, which did not work. This could’ve been avoided if there were instructions in the room "

"I wish we had more time to stay here. It’s not a hotel, it’s an experience. Nothing like staying in a building over 700 years old. The views of the countryside were incredible. The service impeccable. Dining was great. We will absolutely return if we come back to Spain. "

"I felt taken advantage of at this property. When we checked in they informed me that Expedia had under charged me as a single and I was traveling with my daughter. So they had to add extra fees for her and for parking. Even after I showed them the reservation confirmation clearly showing 2 people on it, they insisted I pay extra fees. But the location was convenient. "

Beautiful location in Badajoz; staff were excellent, lady at reception couldn’t do enough for us and the lady at breakfast was very helpful indeed. Would use again or recommend to friends and family. "Great value and a good location if you’re wanting a little more space outside the confines of Mérida. Situated at a shopping area, you can walk to the big supermarket, and restaurants. Hotel a tiny bit dated (old shower tub in the bathroom) and the balcony would have been nice to have chairs, but the pool was unexpectedly quite nice, especially in the heat of the afternoon."
