The view from the property is exceptional. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast and diners are excellent. it is generous and the quality of the food is very good. The rooms are comfortable. overall an outstanding experience.

Wow!
Our stay was absolutely incredible, and I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this hotel. The service and on site cooking were both exceptional. The rooms were exquisite with deep personal touches and elegant stylization. The pricing was very reasonable and offers incredible value for the money. We couldn't have been happier with this establishment.

There is only good things to say about this hotel. My wife and I spent 3 nights of our trip here and it was hands down the best part of our Portugal trip. We ordered the dinner at the hotel every night and it was very delicious,the service was so good we felt like we were dining at a high level restaurant. The breakfast was also very delicious every morning. The owners are always smiling, always around to help you with whatever you need. The hotel is so nice,cozy,quiet and romantic! The hotel dog Becas is very well behaved and he loves being pet. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would love to come back and stay at the same place again.

This is an incredible property! Everything is top notch and absolutely beautifully appointed. There has been no detail overlooked to make your stay perfect! Everyone working there was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Make sure you eat your meals there. The food is top notch and the evenings are magical.

Quinta do Bosque was truly amazing! The service and quality went above and beyond what we could have ever expected and well above any 5 star rated hotel we have stayed at. Every little detail is thought out, from the design and decor of the common area and rooms, the stocked common honor bar to the quality and presentation of the food served. We ate dinner both nights at the Quinta and the food was superb. Honestly, to just sit and enjoy a quiet, superb meal by the wood fireplace, looking out at the lights of the village of Mesão Frio below, was the retreat we didn't realize we desperately needed! We will definitely visit again.

Amazing, immaculate stay at Quinta do Bosque. The owner has created an ambiance of pure bliss and elegance and meticulous touches throughout your room - this tops any hotel I've stayed on for thoughtfulness. Breakfast was DELICIOUS - so much variety and quality. This is a perfect romantic getaway, we went for a room with a tub and it was worth it. Perfection!!!

This was quite possibly the nicest bed and breakfast stay we have ever experienced. The hotel was exquisite, the grounds and views were stunning, and the food was delicious. Our only regret is only staying for one night.

Unforgettable experience and stay in Duoro valley!
This is one of those vacations or stays that we won't forget soon. This estate is nestled high in the Duoro valley with incredible views of the mountains that brings relaxation and tranquility. If you are looking for a relaxing get away with the highest level of service, this is it! Christiano and his team treat their guests like family friends. Their attention to every detail is something that medium to big hotels just cannot match. The way they treat their guests, makes us feel like family, something that big hotels just won't be able to do. The house is super clean and comfy, feels just like a luxury getaway home we would love to have. The beautiful, delicious and personal breakfast and dinner service is something you have to experience. We feel so pampered! Thanks for everything, we look forward to coming back!

If you are looking for a location that is surrounded by beauty and serenity, stay here. If you are looking for a hotel where every traveler's need is anticipated and taken care of with personal touches, stay here. We ate salad from their bio/organic garden. We had a pick of very nutritious and exotic food for breakfast (homemade yoghurt, chia seeds, goji berries, hazelnuts, mango, passion fruits, figs, etc. The dinner menu was traditional Portuguese dishes but made with modern sensibilities. The wine was outrageous because it was from Duoro, and their vineyard. Will definitely tell my friends and return one day.

Fantastic hotel for first stay in the Douro Valley
Quinta do Bosque is a fantastic place to stay in the Douro Valley if you're looking for a smaller hotel with great food and friendly staff. Cristiano and his colleagues pay attention to every detail and the property is just so beautiful. If you aren't familiar with the area, prepare for lots of narrow winding roads, so choose a smaller car if possible. The drive to Pinhāo and back is one of the most stunning drives I've ever done. We are so glad that we chose to stay in Mesāo Frio, and we hope we can visit again soon. Also Becas, the dog, is the cutest host. We loved walking around the vineyards with him.

Wow! This property was simply outstanding. The view is just awesome and Christiano and his staff went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and relaxed. Our room was spacious and the balcony view out of this world. We stayed for dinner as we didn’t want to venture out in our rental car at night on the small and steep roads and so happy we did. The dinner was just delicious, grilled octopus with full four courses and the included breakfast was delightful. Just book this place!

Where do I start.....it truly was simply magical! We traveled, my husband and I, 2 weeks through Portugal, staying here, was The Absolute high light! The owner, Christiano, runs this place hands on with some great staff, Maria, Louisa, a cook and I am sure other staff that I did not see or missed. The eye for details is that extra that makes all the difference. Our sleep was wonderful, in a stunning room. The location breathtaking The breakfasts lovely, so much choice and so good, dinners tasty and simply fantastic. Loved the pool. We were here for 2 overnightings....Too short! Oh yes if we could do it again, we would have stayed longer. They make you feel like a King and Queen. Nothing was too much. All what was done, was done with care, politeness and always with a smile! We truly can not say enough about this place, but what we will say is, of all the years of our travelling, and we do a fair bit, this was with no doubt our number 1. A sincere thank you to Christiano and his team! They know the meaning of treating people in a special way.

Amazing getaway in Douro
One of the best part of our Portugal trip was when we stayed at Quinta de bosque. The hotel is beautifully designed, big room with great bed, shower, all of the small details are fully thought. There is unforgettable view of the valley with a pool. The best part was the team - Cristiano and Maria are always available, nice and made us feel like kings. Thank you, we will be back for sure.

My stay here was perfect. The quinta is luxurious- pool with lounge chairs, beautiful sitting area, comfortable beds, a rain shower with robe and slippers and so many small simple touches that make the stay luxurious. There were sprigs of rosemary on the pillows and clementines in the room as welcomes for the stay. The breakfast was better than I’ve had in a long time- fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, meats, eggs/bacon, breads, jams, fresh squeezed juice and coffee. Nothing was left out. I will definitely stay here again and give it the highest rating possible and at a extremely reasonable price. 5 stars

Incredible! We can’t say enough good things about Quinta Do Bosque! The attention to detail is relentless, the quality of the rooms and amenities is superb and the views are breathtaking. We Stay at Quinta Do Bosque and this place is Just a Paradise, The complex is amazing and surround in the middle of beautiful fields. Our room was Decorate in very High level. There is an amazing swimming pool with perfect view of Douro Valley. Cristiano the host was very friendly and help us in any question or request that we just ask. We can't wait to come back in our next vacation in Portugal. 5 STARS !!!

One of the best properties we've been at in a long time. The property itself is gorgeous, but Cristiano and his staff are the true gems. They go entirely out of their way to make you feel comfortable, but not in the typical Four Seasons "everybody is pleasant" way. Their care for their guests shines through along with the attention to detail that only can come with pride of ownership.

Our stay at Quinta do Bosque was exceptional! Not only is it one of the most beautiful hotels (and locations) I've ever stayed at, the service, thoughtfulness and attention to detail provided by Christiano, Angela, and Maria were unparalleled. On top of the excellent service, they were an absolute delight to be around. We spent two nights enjoying the stunning views, delicious breakfast, delightful ambiance and luxury rooms. I reviewed 5 other luxury, boutique hotels in the area and am so glad I ended up choosing Quinta do Bosque! Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views over the Douro Valley. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and all very laid back. We stayed in the Junior Deluxe suite which is lovely.

Peaceful secluded get away
We were warmly welcomed by Cristiano with a glass of local port and given exceptional assistance and recommendations our entire stay. Breakfast was SENSENTIONAL, as was the view from our room and the very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Hope to visit in summer when we can take advantage of the pool! Thank you!
