The location is exceptional - quiet, private, and surrounded by nature, yet only a short drive from the charming town of Chesterton.The house itself is a beautiful example of a mid-century modern architecture, set high on a hill in a wonderfully peaceful setting. One of the highlights was the easy walk to a beautiful semi private beach, which made the location especially enjoyable.The home was very clean and completely ready for us when we arrived, and the owner was consistently responsive and attentive whenever we needed anything. We also loved the feeling of being immersed in nature. Hummingbirds were continually coming and going from the feeder just outside our window, which became one of the small pleasures of our stay.Dune Acres feels wonderfully remote and secluded while still being convenient to restaurants, shopping, and everything Chesterton has to offer. It was an ideal place for our family to relax and enjoy the Indiana dunes.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, distinctive, and beautifully located retreat. Five stars!"
