The house is lovely and very clean. The only issue was minor, that the bathroom is only accessible through a bedroom. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely cottage in a very convenient but quiet location. The host made checking in so easy and the house is very well appointed and furnished. The beds are comfey and the kitchen had appliances and furnishings all in great condition. I would highly recommended.
Ideal rental for family of 4-5, or two couples. Lots of room to spread out inside out on the back deck. Easy walk to Baker's "Old" downtown with multiple eateries and craft, antique shops. We spent three nights here while gravel biking in the surrounding ranch lands and forested hills. Baker City and Oregon Trail museums each worth several hours apiece. A solid value compared to the motels in town.
This was a great home for our two day visit to Baker City for a family celebration. We happened to be there the weekend of The Taste of Baker City which was so much fun. The location could not have been more perfect! We were able to easily walk into town both days we were there, as we were only a few blocks away. The hot tub was also a great way to relax in the evening. The hosts were amazing! They responded within minutes to every message I sent them, before our arrival. We never had to message them again, during our stay. The home was very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this home any day.
This was my first experience with VRBO, and overall, it was a good experience. We are four sisters who were enjoying our 26th annual sisters' outing. The home was located within walking distance of downtown Baker City. It was well equipped and furnished, and charming, with extra goodies included. It would have been helpful if there were instructions on operating the thermostat and TV, but otherwise all was good. The third bed in the basement was no problem, but the stairs down were a bit tricky. All three beds were comfortable! Outside, the hot tub was a good way to end the evening, and we enjoyed it both nights. Towels for the hot tub were available to use, also. The yard was a bit neglected, but still charming with a great outside deck with lots of seating. The hosts treated us to coffee drinks at a local coffee business - Mad Matilda's, and we all agreed it was the BEST coffee drink we have had in a long time. Thank you to our hosts!!!
We came to Baker City for the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway. The Byway was impressive but very, very long. Communication with Andrew was more than excellent. He allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. We didn't get a chance to use the sauna or hot tub. The photos of the house should be updated because of changes. The house met our needs for the short time we were there.
The house was great! 2 bedrooms upstairs, with the bathroom in between. Fully furnished basement with additional bedroom. The yard had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Hot tub, sauna & BBQ worked without issues. Plenty of street parking and a short walk from Main Street (restaurants and shopping). The property owner was very nice and responsive to all pre-trip questions, we never had to contact the owner during our stay with any issues. Would definitely recommend!
It was a fairly quiet neighborhood, and the house had plenty of space to kick back and relax! I liked that it is a great location--close to everything from the Dollar Tree, to several restaurants---make our coming and going pretty easy!
We are a couple of over 70 gal Pals, and can be a tad picky. Both of us were constantly hollering out, " would you look at this!! There's even... !!" We both live away from the city, and so we were kind of expecting to be feeling exposed. Quite the contrary; we felt very private and quiet and relaxed. We feel that this is now OUR little getaway, and none of you can have it! THANK YOU Andrew, and we'll be back!!
Had issues with AC on first day, but we went out for a bit and our host had it taken care of by the time we got back, which was only about an hour. Although temperatures were high during the day, it cooled down nicely at night, and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck. Very good host, and Baker City was a good destination.
I came up to Baker City for a quiet relaxing vacation and visit a friend on my Birthday. This location and the host made everything perfect, the house was super clean and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Next time I travel to Baker City I will be booking here again!
The place was absolutely adorable and extremely clean. Highly recommend if you are wanting to stay somewhere that is comfortable and a perfect place to get away!
Had a wonderful stay! We didn’t spend a great deal of time at the house, but it provided a comfortable atmosphere and good night’s sleep. Thank you for opening up your home and welcoming us inside!
This little home is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood four blocks away from Main Street's shops and cafés. It's private and peaceful, with a beautiful back yard that's almost like an extra "room" in the summertime. Don't come here expecting a minimalist apartment—this is a real, lived-in home, full of charming personal touches. As another guest commented, it might be hard finding places to put your own stuff, although when we were there the closet and chest of drawers in the second bedroom were empty and available for clothes. There's no TV or entertainment system, which suited us fine. The owners are helpful and friendly.

Adorable home!
We loved our stay in Andrew's home. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely adorable with lots of unique furniture, art, pottery, etc. The homeowner's have an eye for vintage charm. The home was warm and cozy, beds were comfy, hot tub was wonderful for the kids. Great home base for our spring break ski trip. Several things to keep in mind that aren't necessarily apparent from the listing - not necessarily bad. There is no TV. Also, this is a home where the homeowner's live, not a rental space. There are nice things in the house and their personal belongings in it that made it a bit nerve wracking with 2 kids. Also, no place to put clothing made it a bit tough, but overall fine.
