"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. They also looked after our luggage after check-out so we could collect it later. The buffet dinner was slightly expensive, and there aren’t many restaurants nearby. However, I would highly recommend Ananta Café and Art Gallery, which is close to the hotel. They serve really nice homemade cakes, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel."
The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

"Overall the Westin Turtle is a perfectly good option to consider if you just want somewhere to sit and bathe in the sun. The beach area is clean with plenty of sand but the best area's to swim in the sea as via the area given over to another hotel - nothing stopping you using it but sunbeds etc are not for Westin customers. Plenty to do whilst on site with various events laid out during the day to make things fun. All of the staff were attentive and helpful but special shout out goes to Vivek, Mafoozah and Jeevan who made our stay very comfortable. We visited in September and that appears to be considered a quiet month so certain restaurants and options are not running, these were not told to us at any point, we just discovered it by chance. We decided to eat outside of the resort on most nights - a personal choice over anything wrong - but when we cannot fault the quality of the food or the service. I don't know how Westin compares to other similar hotel but for us it met our expectations and allowed us to have a stress free holiday."

"A perfect hideaway on the west coast in Mauritius. The house was so well equipped, having our own pool was amazing & watching the sun go down over the sea was just magic. Not to mention the amazing wildlife; birds, hermit crabs & bats.You need a car to get around if staying here, but that wasn't a problem. Mary the housekeeper was incredible & comms. with Rachel the host was timely, friendly & informative. I would definitely stay here againThankyou for a magical stay"

"Staff is wonderful, except they way too busy at times and become too hectic and crazy. We Ate at Segala- Ibrahim chef is great. Food is excellent, ambiance great! Prefer different variety food during breakfast. After spending 6 days, gets tiring of all the same food. Great staff!!"

"Our stay at this house in Mauritius had both enjoyable aspects and some clear drawbacks. On the positive side, the pool is excellent and the overall interior design is very সনদর—tasteful and inviting. The outdoor area is great for relaxing, and the house has a nice aesthetic overall.However, there were some issues upon arrival. The house was not clean when we checked in. After we raised this, it was cleaned again promptly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, some of the furniture is quite worn, and the bed linen had a musty smell, which negatively affected the first impression.Another important point is the location. The listing is quite inaccurate, and you only receive the exact location shortly before arrival. The house is actually located outside the town, so having a car is absolutely necessary.A major downside is the noise at night. Motorbikes in particular are very loud and can be heard throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We strongly recommend bringing earplugs.Overall, the house has potential thanks to its nice design and pool, but improvements are needed in terms of cleanliness, furniture condition, and transparency regarding the location."

"We recently stayed at Victoria Beachcomber as an Indian family with kids, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is amazing—massive, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The sunset views from the resort are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was very comfortable and offered lovely views with easy access to the beach, making it especially convenient for families. As vegetarians, we initially found the buffet options somewhat limited. However, Chef Iqbal went above and beyond to take special care of us throughout our stay. Every day, he lovingly prepared delicious Indian curries and fresh rotis, ensuring that we always had a satisfying meal. His hospitality and personal attention truly made a difference. The Kids Club was another standout feature. Our 8-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the games and activities organized by the team. The staff took excellent care of the children, keeping them engaged and entertained, which allowed the adults to relax and enjoy the resort. We also loved the complimentary water activities. The glass-bottom boat, paddle boat, and kayak were fantastic additions and added a lot of fun to our holiday. Every evening, the resort organized cultural dance performances showcasing local traditions and dance forms, followed by a DJ night. These events created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into the local"
