"Our family of six adults and two toddlers had a great time on the beach. The rental was exactly as described, with a few minor dings and bumps that didn't stop the fun.The house is located directly on the boardwalk, which made biking everywhere a blast. We brought our e-bikes and loved being able to get around so easily. There is a fire pit nearby, which was perfect for bonfires. Since it's on a quieter part of the boardwalk, noise wasn't an issue.It was a very hot week and the house does not have air conditioning, but the management company provided extra fans. I also brought a small portable air conditioner for the top-floor back room. The management company left easy-to-follow instructions and was easy to get in touch with. Parking was easy and exactly as described."
"This is the 5th or 6th time we’ve stayed at this property and we plan to keep coming back! We stay on Balboa a couple of times a year every year and this is our favorite spot.PROS: - the location right on the boardwalk between the 2 piers- the unobstructed view of the ocean from the upstairs kitchen and living room- the parking, a spot in the garage and another in front of the garage- walkable to both piers, multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and surf shops- the property is very clean and everything is fully functional- new A/C works great in every room- the host, Chris, has excellent communication and is always helpfulCONS- if you want new and remodeled, the decor wil disappoint you"
