One of the most beautiful Istrian pearls is the town of Bale, located close to the western Istrian shore.
This historical stone town was built on a hill surrounded with endless olive groves and vineyards and it is located just five kilometres from the sea and pristine seashore.
Bale gives off a special atmosphere and is an inspiration to several artists who live and create here. Numerous events throughout the summer attract visitors who can enjoy different art forms, especially music.
