"This place was a great find! The moment we walked in, we gave a sigh of relief followed by a chirp of pleasure! The rooms were immaculate, the decor was pleasant and modern and uncluttered, and the overall feel was at once bright and airy yet comfortable and cozy. The setting itself was lovely—a grassy patch for garden chairs was encircled by trees, with a view of one of the mountains. Birds filled the trees, and turkeys and deer wandered through the yard. I am apt to get up in the small hours of the night, so a few times I went outdoors to listen to the owls and to view the star-filled sky. Because there is no ambient light, those stars twinkled and winked in their full glory. (There nights are also very quiet, with little if any background noise.)Very important to me was staying in a place that was free of added scents (e.g., air fresheners, laundry detergents, plug-ins). This place delivered on that front! I asked our host in advance about this matter, and her assurances were validated! I could thoroughly enjoy our days there without being assaulted by perfumes! The location itself was great for us—we did lots of exploring both north and south of the ferry and found Procter to be an about in the center of our hiking trips. Our host was pleasant, agreeable, and extremely helpful and seemed to go out of her way to be accommodating and to assist us and provide information. Our inquiries were always responded to promptly and courteously.We loved this place!"

"This is a very comfortable home in a beautiful location. It feels like you’re staying in a friend’s home, with its interesting art and books. Janice met us for check-in and spent quite a bit of time showing us the house. She is readily available by text for any questions you may have. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything needed for cooking and barbecuing. You are a very short walking distance from the Hot Springs, and the restaurant at the Hot Springs was very good. All in all, this is one of our favourite rental properties we have visited over the years."
