"Beautiful new self catering apartment with stunning views from the balcony of Ball's bay, cows & norfolk island trees. Apartment has everything you need for exploring the island (mobile phone, beach towels, picnic blanket etc). Well equiped kitchen and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommended & would love to return again in the future. Host met us at the airport which was a welcomed suprise. "

"Very comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom unit in the main building with lovely views over the hills to the ocean and Phillip Island. The cabins look really great as well. Easy walk to Burnt Pine township. Google maps photos show a pool in the grounds but it has been removed. Insect screens were damaged or missing so we couldnt leave windows open at night because of mosquitoes. Otherwise our stay was excellent. "

"Not much food choice and food and drink expensive. Main gripe is claim that 2 GB of Wi Fi provided. All gone after 1 day and they claim used it all and have to pay for more. Rubbish when only used to download paper and mail and average data use over 3 month period is consistently 1.2 GB."

The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped, including cozy blankets, beach towels, picnic gear, and even a local mobile phone to use during the stay – every little detail had been considered to make things easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. The peaceful location gave us that wonderful "away-from-it-all" feeling, yet we were just a short drive from the shops, beaches, and historic sites. Waking up to the sound of birds and the views over the rolling green countryside is the kind of serenity that’s hard to find. The warm welcome and local tips from Bookie were very helpful.
