The staff was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable.
When we arrived in our room, there was no hand soap in the bathroom and we had to ask for it. Plastic bags were always folded over the wastebaskets and needed to be inserted by the guest or ignored.
It was impossible to reach the front desk. One of the three phones in our room did not work. Calling from one of the other ones, the phone line was always busy.
We wanted to have dinner in the hotel grille based on the posted menu. Once we were seated, we were told that the menu was different. There were only small plates of bar food available. We decided to eat elsewhere.
Nonetheless, our stay was overall good. Since we had gone to see the Tall Ships sail through Boston Harbor, it was a perfect place to be.

Room was incredibly dated, especially the bathroom. Rug was frayed and there was an old school corded phone next to the toilet. Not what I expected from a “luxury” hotel. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in tacky plastic white containers that had visible residue where they get filled. Bed was really comfy and staff was helpful, but the room needs some refreshing.

"So this was my first foray into a shared bathroom, and it was actually super easy and not at all an issue. What was an issue was that when a hall shares a bathroom, doors are opening and closing all night, and the doors snapped shut very loudly. If you are a very light sleeper, I don't think this ..."
