The Landmark Hotel

The Landmark Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel is beautiful, major drawback is the lack of air conditioning. The hotel is very clean, well maintained facility located in a perfect spot in Carrick-on-Shannon. Plenty of parking around back. Like most hotels in Ireland, there was no early check in, even an hour or so, which is annoying for travelers looking to clean up then go exploring the area."

"Great location, two local pubs are fun, rooms were very pleasant. Apart from one sweet young cleaner, I didn't see any staff. Personally i hate automated check in and the pin numbers etc hadn't come through so I was stuck outside (with a couple of other new guests) for half an hour. No answer to the phone calls either. Real people might cost money but they determine how a place is perceived."

"Very nice hotel in Sligo. Convenient to local shops and restaurants. Has a small off street parking lot but I parked in an outdoor pay lot for about $8 euros for 24 hours. Free on Sundays. Restaurant food was very good. Nice breakfast options for a fee. My second stay here in two years. Would recommend to fellow travelers. I would book again when visiting Sligo."
